What did you say in your invites?

I am kind of stuck on my invitation wording...

We are having a little Escape wedding, and at first I wasnt going to send out invitations, but now, I changed my mind. My question is, if we are paying for the wedding, and my parents are paying for the reception... How do I word that?

Do I still do the "Mr and Mrs Jackson..." or do you say "Together with their parents" or something "Disney" and forget about who is inviting the people. What did everyone else write??

I dont want to offend anyone...

You could always go with the Disney-esque wording on the invite, and then thank both sets of parents for their contributions to your day in your wedding programs. Talk it over with your parents though, see what they think!

Edit: I said thank both sets of parents in the program, even though it only seems like one family is contributing to the wedding. That is why I think this may be a good route, as you don't want to include one set of parents but not the other in the invite. May hurt someone's feelings, I would imagine.

we have too many names to go on our invitations because of divroce/remarriage. So even though my parents are giving us money, this is what our invitations will say (i think):
Our happily ever after begins
at the happiest place on earth…

Jennifer XXXXXXXX
And
Brandon XXXXXXXXX

request the honor of your presence
as we begin our new life together
on this day of enchantment

I think any of those ideas would work! I like what Jennifer's doing - going Disney, but I also like Together with their parents. What I like about Together with their parents, is that it shows that you're paying for it as well. I dunno - I'm of no help am I?!
