So I saved about $560 bucks with the new deal. When I see others have saved over $1000 it makes me wonder.... Lol. It's just two adults for my trip though so that might have something to do with it?! Anyways, post here how much you saved!!

I was told I was saving $1200, but have yet to get a confirmation email. It's making me nervous enough that I'm calling back, but now have encountered the lovely hour and counting hold time.

We are 2 adults, 2 kids (one under 3) staying 6d/7n at the cabins at Fort Wilderness, and we did a RO discount. Took it from $2800 to $1600. Dates Feb 28-March 6

All Star Movies Preferred 1/9-1/15
6d/7nights
2 adults, 3 children (7, 3, 11months)
7day base tix
QS dining
Total before discount: $2585.64
Total after discount: $2121.42
Savings: $464.22

I figure that we ended up paying $158.xx for the QS dining. Not FD, but I'll take it =-)

I had the CM price out AS Music= $2115.xx
POP= $2117.xx

He said Music was the cheapest because they had the most available rooms....HTH

We saved about $400. It's not nearly what some others are saving, but it's just the two of us and we're staying Value with DDP, so I'm happy with it. The savings will cover our plane tickets. :cheer2:

We saved $558.26 for 9 nights/10 days at POR in January (on the RO discount). Grand total for the room is $1301.74, and that's including MLK weekend!

We already have annual passes & doing all the dining with 4 kids was hard the last time around...so no dining plan for us this time around!

$558 for 3/4 days nights at Boardwalk marathon weekend.
2 adults 4 kids (1 11 year old and 1 14 month old that doesn't "count" ). Pretty good for a quick trip for dh and some friends to run to goofy! :)

I used the Visa deal. Four nights over MLK holiday at PopC. Saved $100.

We have a big family trip planned:dance3:

All together $2700 saving in 3 rooms

booked 9 night/10 day stay

Preferred room quick service dinning plan

We saved 1,285.84
Wilderness Lodge
woods view room
3 Adults 1 child (13)
5 day base tickets
regular dining plan
March 2nd-9th

Not as much as FD would have saved but hey its close and its all good. :cool1:

I saved NOTHING. :) because we were at AoA LM. Quoted Pop, WL and POR-Royal:

Ran pkgs over weekend online for comparison:

2 adult plus 6yo and 3yo DDP, PH&water pk passes

March 1-9 (so only discounted 7 of 8 nights)

All are standard rooms:

Wilderness:

6077.58 without disc
5227.88 w spd
6443.87 w ro (made no sense to me)

POP

3990.42 without disc
3383.43 w spd
3703.13 w ro

POR Royal
4565.76 without disc
4011.82 w spd
5389.82 w ro (again, bizarre)

We choose POR royal because it was within 10.00 of our package price for the same dates, tix, dining - so while I'm not 'saving' I'm getting more for my money IMHO. :) it is about 565 cheaper than POR royal undiscounted as far as I can tell.

This process took me four calls. One long hold followed by a CM giving rates but unable to book Then a disconnect while on hold. Then I called at 8c and all circuits were busy for 10 mins. Then I got a great cm who was almost done checking WL availability and the call failed. Last time I called the hold was a little shorter but it did take a lot of time.

Couple other details: she initially told me all POR was booked!!! After asking 'royal AND reg' she backtracked and said that 'oh bc you are switching from a value to a moderate it is a different code'......sigh. All better now. New email confirmation has arrived. :)

i am guessing the difference is the cost to upgrade the quick service dining plan to the regular plan.

we are figuring the cost to upgrade the plan will cost about 300 for two adults for the week

Yeah, that's what I figured it probably is too. I'm okay with it. DBF is basically obsessed with food, and trying new restaurants and foods is one of his favorite things about going, so we can't really go without the regular plan. If booking was completely left up to him, I'm sure we'd get the DxDP. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Saved $800 using S/P/D for our 8-night stay at WL Jan 26-Feb 3. Savings was about $150 more than what I had calculated for using the formula of pricing adult dining and park tickets at child prices, so woo-hoo! Still about $350 more than free dining would have been, but I'll take it if that's the best they're offering!

I was already booked using 15% AAA discount, so this saved me an additional $400 over that.

upgraded to preferred room at POR, PLUS saved 934.73$. it was so worth it... even with getting up at 2 am and then having to call back about not getting S/P/D.

Booked with a CM. Not sure if I got RO or s/p/d. Should I call back?

POR - Garden View
2/25 - 3/03
2 adults, 2kids (6, 7)
6 day base tickets
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan
No discount - $4078.70
S/P/D discount (?) - $3440.64
Savings $648.06

Saved $740 for DH and I staying 10 days at Caribbean Beach with 7 day park hopper tickets, with plus dining.

THANK HEAVENS FOR THIS WEBSITE! I booked our vacation two months ago, and I'd have never known about these kinds of deals if it wasn't for finding out about things here!

.....Now, to start thinking about what I'll buy at WDW with that savings....

I would have saved 1033, but I added another day to our tickets. I decided yesterday that we will drive instead of fly. That gives me more time on our departure day (hadn't planned on hitting a park before leaving - now I can). So, my total savings is $996.31.

POR 2/7 - 2/15
1 Adult, 3 Kids (13, 12, and 3)
8 day base tickets (was 7, added another day)
Regular Dining Plan
Garden View room (had booked as standard - so that upgraded as well)
Original package: $4230.84
New with S/P/D: $3,234.34
Savings: $996.31 :cheer2:

Since I'm driving instead of flying, I'll save even more. Round trip airfare was quoting at around $525 each. Driving will cost me around $500 including gas and two single nights at a hotel. That saved me another $1600. :cool1:

Make sure that you price both of the discounts offered. I just booked 5 nights, 6 days at CR with a theme park view, 5 day park hoppers, and dining plan.

When I first was booking, I was disappointed that the Garden Wing rooms weren't offered in the S/P/D package. (those rooms may have not been offered or may have already filled up by the time I was able to book). The S/P/D package was only offering a theme park view room and the price was going to be $4,057 which I was not willing to pay.

However, I checked the RO offer and ended up coming out cheaper even after adding the 5 day park hoppers and dining plan. I was really surprised! Total came to $3573 (almost $500 less!). Still this was a little more than I would have spent in a Garden Wing room, but only about $300 more for the week which I can justifiy. ;)
