lucky for us during inflated prices, we have a ghetto chain store in Yuma that sells pork and produce really cheap. so pork tacos with lots and lots and ltos of fresh avocado slices.

kinda close....the sirlon steak was tough so should have been hamburger....wife is gone to oregon for who knows how long, so fried the cabbage that store shredded in olive and seasme oil, love that singed flavor, though not sure if dog loves it...applesauce will cure any ill....and white rice with fresh cilnatro from the brick garden as the lizards are hibernating so our green garden is flourishing. wife made a big pot of rice, so dog and I are chewing that down slowly and creatvily

we use to travel 90 miles east to best pizza in the world...but in-laws don't travel anymore to greet us halfway. Passed on the way back from phoniex sky Harbor airport, but just plain tired and really didn't want to eat with 90 miles to the west. In Maricopia stopped at an arbys and had a gyro, I try to stay away from i-10 and I-8 is full of beauntiufl cactus and peaks....so no 90j mile pizza....had ham and veggies with mashed spuds for dinner.

sister made me a comfort casserole as she headed to tucson to world gem show....looking for better sterling necklaces for her mine alaska sea glass and a hagen das ice cream bar....not outside as TV is wind storm put away...usually have border duro wheels as after dinner snack with dog.

No wait! Emporia Virginia, food was good and served quickly!

I got a kick out of a huge package of Peeps! Was tempted to buy for Tom, but it’s not even Valentine’s Day, so I passed.

Day #83 of a ginormous chicken pot pie from Sam’s Club. It’s a delicious meal, easily prepared as it just goes in the oven for 1h15min, but I should not have bought it without inviting two more families over to share it. I’m the only one eating it. And I’m not big on crust, so I just keep digging out the gooey center every night… followed by ice cream bought at the serve-yourself farm store up the road a piece. I got a couple of filets mignons from them, too. Grass-fed and grass-finished. (Better than Whole Paycheck’s options and closer to home.) I’ll post when DH grills them.
