What did you have for dinner last night?

Andiamo - Yes, BB would be a good choice, service takes quite a while and is quite dark in there, they do have a children's menu. Ask for a waterside table. What about a character breakfast like the princess one? That'd be my first choice having a 5 y.o. dd myself.

Ski - what on earth is a margarita with basil in it???? Sounds.....uhh.......interestingly tempting.

Eliza - do tell us what you all dine on in the UK. We had Beef Wellington on the Disney Cruise, yeccch, although otherwise it should be quite tasty. What does the queen fancy, do you know? ;)

Teriyaki chicken skewers, carrots, white rice.

There was about 2 gallons made and 12 people finished it instead of drinking wine or really good beer. I found it rather delicious after I tried it and didn't stop until it was gone.

This is just a guess.

She makes regular ones with simple syrup, lemonjuice, tequila, Lime juice, and orange juice. I forget the ratios but that is big to small. These are really good, I just can't order a regular margaritas and enjoy them now. Something about the orange juice.

I think she made these and used a blender to chop the strawberries or maybe somthing like a cuisinart. The strawberry juice was visible and tinting the marg red a little, but the strawberry pieces where small chunky slices in random sices plus some nearly pureed bits. Then she crushed the basil leave and drops them in the container.

I don't think of basil as a drink taste, but was pleasantly surprised how well the flavor mixed in.

I had a slightly warm pasta salad. Penne, chopped chard that was sauted in olive oil(made this dish to use some chard), chopped chikcen breast, and some mozarella cheese which melted in. I think some feta would of been beta.

I made chicken alfredo, salad and garlic bread, I only ate some salad and bread tho. I'll have the alfredo leftovers for lunch tomorrow. :)

I had steak with salad, green beans and macaroni salad.

I made bean burritos, the girls were at friends' houses so Micah and I just went the easy way out, refried beans, flour tortillas, cheese, red onion, I also added some cucumber because I like them. :) Topped with some green taco sauce (my fave) and it was good.

I had a meatloaf, with green salad, and finished off one bowl of macaroni salad.

We had a meatloaf as well, with garlic potatoes and sweet corn. My oldest daughter came to visit and that's her favorite dinner. She said her dad grills every night and she's getting tired of that, heh.

Anniversary dinner:
A 5 course dinner, paired each course with the sommelier's choice wine.
1 - Foie gras with a phyllo type of biscuit with some kind of whipped strawberry cream cheese in it. Paired with a sauturn
2 - A roasted corn and arugula salad with crab pieces paired with a granache rose
3 - The biggest seared scallop I've ever seen atop a bed of cheesy risotto paired with and Italian white wine
4 - Pork tenderloin - not too excited about that as I make it a lot, but the sauce was yummy, sort of a bbq sauce with a side of some type of white beans, very good. Paired with a granache
5 - DH had creme brulee, I had a turtle mousse with 3 layers of melt in your mouth chocolate and 2 candy type of cookies. I had an appletini.

Let's see, Thursday night we grabbed McD's on the way to the parks, I had a chicken sandwich and fries, Friday night we had Ariel's Grotto, I had the tri tip, Saturday we had the BBQ, last night we had Taco Bell on the way home. :)

How was the Red Lion?

Last night we had chicken burritos and pinto beans.
