What did you give your Bridesmaids?

I really want to give my Bridesmaids something that they'll actually find useful. Most aren't going to be able to spend much time in the Parks, so Pases / Disney Gift Cards are out. After asking them to spend the $$ to travel to Disney for the wedding, I want it to be something that doesn't come off as frivolous. What kinds of things did you all give your Bridesmaids?

Thanks in advance for any ideas...I'm definitely drawing a blank on this one!:confused3

You said no Disney gift cards.. and that what I did for mine.
I knew of expensive restaraunts that they wanted to go to in Disney, so I made them a ressie and got them a gift card to cover their dinner.

You could maybe do something like this with a local restaraunt they like.
I also included something Mickey in each of their bags. One of my BM's is in culinary school, so I got her a chefs hat with mickey on it, and the other is preggo, so I got her a mickey baby outfit.

The sky's the limit with gifts!

I got my girls the little canvas bag from Land's End..it was perfect for a little bag for pool items and it had their initials

I also did Bags with their names on it -- Also I got each of them a set of pearls and earing to wear for the ceremony (fake ones - about $35 each). Then for each member of the Wedding Party we are going to get them resort mugs, so that they can have drinks at their resorts... Most are checking in Friday and leaving Sunday so we figured for the weekend they can have free soda and hot coca!!! :cool1:

I am giving my matron of honor a handbag and wallet (she loves cherries), a locket and I am paying for her hair and makeup.

TONI OMG I saw that cherry pattern on a pair of flip flops in the POLY...they are so cute!!!!!!!

Aww Toni forgot to say I love the locket....so cute!!

I agree, the locket is absolutely adorable. I have six Bridesmaids, so I'm not sure how much I can spend per. I'm already paying for all their hair and make-up for 4 of the 6, so money's a bit tight. Some people have said they think that's enough in itself, but I think it'd be weird not to have something to give them at the Rehearsal Dinner. Thanks for the ideas!

What are you thinking you can spend?? I say pick a budget and then go from there :)

I love the tote bag idea with the goodies!!! I think that is a great idea and very useful!!! If you start now maybe you can find things on sale and stock up on them to use!

Lynn, Thanks!! I saw the flip flops too and I was thinking of getting them for myself!!...lol

I actually got VERY lucky with the purse and wallet. They were on clearance for 9.99 and 5.99!

Toni that is a steal!!!!!

mary what nice gifts :)

Lynn, wow! I would have been your BM any day! What a fantastic gift!!

Last time I was a BM I got the most awful fake pearl earing and necklace set. Seriously, think Marge Simpson.... They looked lovely with my banana yellow dress.... :rotfl:

My wedding party got their trips paid for (flights, hotel, and park passes). I also got them all guide books to help with their planning. After that I selfishly decided they weren't also getting a gift. :rolleyes1 Had they paid for the trip themselves, I would have tried to personalize each gift to something they might really like, rather than trying to find one gift to fit everyone in the group.

What about taking your girls to pick a pearl at Epcot or DTD and then having it set in something of their choosing? Then they'll remember the experience as well as being at your wedding.

Aww I love the pearl idea!!!!!! Pick a pearl is soo much fun!!! It is addicting!!!

Ember that was an awesome gift for your BMs!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the ideas you are all coming/came up with..

I will only have my 8 yr old dd as my attendant(flower girl she says)but my BF and my mom will be there so i am thinking something cool for either the ty or for the welcome bag.

OMG the bridesmaid survival kits is so cute can i ask where you got it from?

Since I'm having only one attendant I'm splurging on her, since she's riding a train from Richmond, VA to be with me... she's terrified of flying!

I'm paying for her mani/pedi the day before the wedding, getting her a personalized LLBean tote bag filled with goodies, Tiffany bracelet, and paying for her drinks on our Drink Around the World at Epcot... the last one is incentive for her to stick it out with me! I'm determined to make it around the world!

The bridesmaid survival kits are from bath and Body Works....I bought them when they were having thier annual sale...that was like 2 years ago so I'm not sure if they still have them.i think I remember seeing them in there a while ago.
