What did you get for Valentine's Day?

I know it's early but DH just told me he got me NOTHING for Valentine's Day. Not even a card- or an email card!! You know why??

Because it snowed today!! I got him and the kids their gifts two days ago because I knew it was going to snow. He could have done the same.

He really is a great DH so I'm just floored by this. It's the first time in 20 years together that I got nothing on VD.

So what did you get? Let me live through you guys today.

EDIT: I just got a Snicker's Bar so I have to take back a little of what I said. He always gets me a Snickers. I think I was more uposet about having no chocolate than anything

Just cards for each other...no gifts this year. I'm sick of getting ripped off every year on 2/14...flowers are double the price and candy is not cheap either. DH's birthday is Friday so we are going out for a nice dinner. I told him to hold off on buying chocolate because it will all be 50% off this weekend....he's glad he married a practical woman...lol. We try to make everyday Valentine's Day in our house (i.e. random acts of kindness etc.) so we don't feel like we need a Hallmark holiday to show one another how much we care

I got DH a card at the dollar store (50 cents) and a pack of skittles and a pack of Nerds. We do not spend a lot - it's more the thought. He had none.

DH got me one of those singing Hallmark cards a few days ago. I have to say it did make me smile plus DS thinks it is just the coolest card ever. He wants to know when we are going to buy him one that sings that "I Want To Drive It All Night Long" song from the movie Cars!

DH also was going to get me some chocolate covered strawberries from a place here in town that makes them twice a year - for V-Day and Mothers Day. He has not missed one yet.

I got a lovely card from DH and one from each DDs. Not romantic, but when I go to pick up youngest DD from school I am stopping at Taco Bell to pick up something for dinner. Don't feel like cooking and have a taste for a taco salad.

I was extremely surprised (and pleased) to receive a red Ipod nano for Valentine's day.

I know how you feel. I've complained a couple of times today on these boards.

We went to dinner last night (had lobster) my husband gave me 2 cards this morning. One for VD and one for our 21st anniversary. Very beautiful cards though.

I just wish I'd get a delivery of roses that are already arranged. If I get them, I have to arrange them myself and I suck at it.

He's a great hubby, but I guess I have to demand what I want to get it. (it worked for xmas)

I got a card and a pair of tiny Mickey Mouse Head earrings. I probably won't wear them anywhere but WDW but I think it's a huge sign that I'm converting DH over to my side.... the WDW side. I was very impressed and they are very cute!

I got the divorce papers back in November...I get the divorce itself tomorrow.

I got my DH! He hasn't been home for a month, and he flew in Monday night so he'd be here for Valentines Day. He's taking me to dinner tonight, I don't want or expect anything else.

I gave stuff to dbf and my dd, however, I did not get anything.
dbf's father died monday night and I understand that is the last thing that was on his mind.

I got a beautiful card and he got me a Macy's gift card. He even got me a card from DD with a $50 gift card for Sephora. I got him gourmet candy apples but they haven't arrived yet I will do something out of the ordinary and make dinner tonight
