What did you find the most affordable way to buy theme park tickets?

How much do you usually save over buying direct from Disney? The couple times I bought from Undercover Tourist I think it was only a couple dollars cheaper if that.
Our 10 day park hopper trip for our family of 4 is a $300 savings. $3300 through Disney and $3000 through undercovertourist. most of this difference might be because RIGHT NOW (for I don’t know how much longer) they are selling at 2021 prices and Disney is selling at 2022 prices.

Not sure if this is still the case, but the Disney website displayed prices before tax and the UT prices included tax. So at first glance they may appear to be the same price, but adding on the tax could be a difference of $50 per person.

Unfortunately we might only be able to do a single day at one of the parks, been years since we have gone, so does anyone know what the best way to approach purchasing a single day to use at Magic Kingdom?

Buy Disney gift cards from Target using your Target credit card. Or buy from BJ's or Sam's Club. All of those result in a discount off of the face value of the gift cards. Then use the gift cards to purchase your 1-day ticket directly from Disney.

We might save $10-$15 per ticket. It doesn't seem like much compared to how expensive the whole trip will be...I try to think of it in terms of Mickey bars. If I can get two rounds of Mickey bars for my family by taking the extra steps of buying from UT then linking the tickets in MDE I feel like I'm coming out ahead.

We went through TicketsatWork and got a coupon for $30 off $300. Just bought each one separate, so each ticket would qualify for the coupon.

I used AAA for our last trip and saved about $20 on each ticket. Not a huge amount, but every little bit helps!

We've used UT a few times but if the savings are $5 or less I'll order from Disney. Once in 2019 there was a Black Friday deal at one of the Orlando discount ticket places but I can't find the correct name. Discount Tickets Orlando maybe. We were able to save on a 4MYW ticket for 3 people for a total savings of $89 after shipping costs.

Single-day tickets -- your best option is direct from Disney. Be careful with the 3rd party sites and single-day tickets because sometimes they are more expensive (even if they have the better price on multi-day tickets).

May I ask what company UC is? I've used Undercover Tourist before and they were great. Would anyone know if UT takes e-transfers?

Another vote for UT with rental car savings. The car rental states up to 50% off, my next rental is 81% off as I am picking it up in Tampa and dropping it off in Daytona Beach with no extra charge(economy full week $185) in March.

With that said, the Kroger fuel/credit card rewards combo has been used many times, we've done the Meijer mperks $50 back on a $500 gift card charging on a rewards card for additional points. We've done the Sam's black Friday $500 for $449 before.

We usually do Undercover Tourist. Very safe. The Red Card discount from Target is nice when you plan it right.

We’ve always used UT. The refund option came in handy in 2020 when we had to cancel.

UT is refundable ? I may ask for a refund. Their “saving” numbers don’t add up. Didn’t realized until tonight (purchased this AM)…

They charge a restocking fee, but yes, they have a refund policy.
