What did you buy??

Oh no! I buy these on most visits to WDW and DL. My dad makes fun of me for it. I have some that I have not used more than once. If I don't buy one, he'll probably say "didn't they have any mugs?"....but if I do buy one he'll say "yeah, that's just what you needed." I'm going to get a sarcastic comment one way or the other so I'm buying one!!

Then maybe you can surprise your Dad by using the mugs all the time. Have your mealtime beverage in one, carry one around the house with ice water in it, have one in your bedroom for water at night, leave on in the bathroom for brushing teeth, take one in the car whenever you go out filled with your favorite beverage, etc. Show your Dad that this is a USEFUL item! Well worth the money. :teeth:

If you don't live with your Dad you can take one with you when you go visit, or more than one, and use them at his house for all beverages for the whole visit. :teeth:

I'm still hoping for an Italian Charm of the Cruise ship logo. Heard a rumor that they may have them this fall. Has anyone found unique ICs on the islands?

Trust you Jan to come up with the perfect use for all those mugs.

We bought the changing color shirts in
St. Thomas. We got them in one of the Del Sol shops. They wear very well and the colors change almost instantly. I won a bottle of the nail polish playing bingo on the ship. It isn't a really dark shade so you's have to be looking closely to see it. Our friends also won one and hers was darker. You can really see the difference on hers.
We have also bought t shirts on the ship and CC. Also the above mentioned towels. My DH and I use them all the time. They wash and dry beautifully.
We also bought some jewelry on St. Martin.
There are plenty of things (DH says "stuff.") to buy.

Have a great time.
Estelle

I wish I didn't (some of the time) but I do. He actually brought three of them up from the basement last weekend so we could bring them to a neighbour's BBQ. Of course, he thought that you were supposed to open the bottom and put water in them and then freeze them (there is a warning not to fill with liquid but he probably didn't have his glasses on!) so we ended up with cold water dripping on our legs (and it was cold last weekend so we didn't need this!). Funny thing is some of them are very well worn...yet one I had to throw out because I left some coffee in it and forgot about it and well...it was green and growing by the time I remembered!

I really should take them to work as I rarely get to drink a whole cup of coffee before I leave the house in the morning!

mmouse, thanks for those pictures! We're taking our first cruise in April, so I love to see what they have on board.

yes...the pictures were great! Thanks. I really like that blue towel with 03 on it. Hopefully they will have an 05 when I go!

Thank you Estelle!~!

Now that is a perfect plan.

Then when you get to work, fill that mug with water, coffee, soda-pop or whatever when you want a drink at your work station. It will stay hot or cold longer and be covered so that no errant items land in it and end its drinkability.

It will also give you perfect opportunities to tell friends about trips as they see a different mug every day or so. Telling about trips is near the top of the list--close behind going on one.
