I was just wondering what kind of stuff you bought in nassau and on the ship and how much it was. Has anyone bought the color changing t-shirts? how did you like it?

we bought a disney towel on the ship and love it..its sooo big and covers a whole lounger

Souvenirs on the ship change from time to time, but things I love are:

a keychain of charms of Captain Mickey, Mate Minnie and the ship that I took off the loop and wear on a chain as a necklace.

pins

earrings

scrapbook

refillable drink mugs--we use them for coffee every day and pretend we are on the MAGIC.

In Nassau we bought a swim wrap and a shirt that is almost the same print so we had "matching" outfits for the Caribbean Night. (We bought them from a vendor in the cut-through made when they tried to build a road through the middle of the island. They freed the slaves before it was done and it was never finished. Neat walk, cool temperature, but STAIRS to climb at the end. We were just walking around and exploring when we found it--not on an excursion. Wraps and shirts are all over however.)

yes....please tell what is available on the ship in the stores to buy. I have to bring souveniers home for lots of people! And do they have a regular clothes store or is it just Tshirt and stuff?

They sell pretty much the same range of gifts and souvenirs you'd find at a shop in the parks, except most with a DCL theme of course. Yes, they have regular clothes too. Believe me, there are plenty of things to buy! Plus there's a duty free shop on board as well, with the usual stuff.

My sister bought the color changing shirts on her cruise this past June. She and her family loved them. It is amazing how fast the color will change. They also have color changing hair clips. I will be on the lookout for these next week. They've asked me to pick up more for them and I'll be getting some for myself. :Pinkbounc

The stateroom clock is my all time favorite. Everytime I check the time it reminds me of our past cruises.

I also bought a castaway cay liscense plate. In all my 40 years never wanted a plate on the front of car, so this was a big leap for me...wish i could just get in the car and drive there!!

Oh no! I buy these on most visits to WDW and DL. My dad makes fun of me for it. I have some that I have not used more than once. If I don't buy one, he'll probably say "didn't they have any mugs?"....but if I do buy one he'll say "yeah, that's just what you needed." I'm going to get a sarcastic comment one way or the other so I'm buying one!!

Lets see, for me I bought a pewter Capt Mickey keychain and a DCL license plate. DH got a Tshirt and the kids got odds and ends, but the best souvenir was free. That is the pillowcase! My kids love theirs and it reminds us of our trip everytime we see it! Andy (aka VerandahMan) made them for us and we have gotten such use out of them!

What is a stateroom clock?

Do you know how much the shirts and clips were? Do they hold up well?

If memory serves me right, the shirts were about $20, but I'm not sure about the clips.

When mom and I went in March, we bought a shirts and pins, as well as souvenirs from the straw market.

I really wish I would have bought the stateroom clock!! (Next trip we won't come home without one!) We bought several of the mahogany finish 8x10 picture frames that were on sale for $11!! They have the kids' pictures taken with Mickey at Castaway Cay in them on the mantle.

They kids picked whatever souvenier they wanted which was a pair of Minnie ears and a pirate set. DH and I purchased a beautiful Christmas ornament and a cruise photo album. There is so much to choose from and so many beautiful things that you could easily spend way too much money!!

We didn't get off the ship in Nassau.

The T-Shirts for youth were about $20 and the hair clips were about $7 for 3 of the big clips. They also had the medium size clips that I will be looking for this trip. Hope this helps.

I bought
a frame for the wonderful pictures I got from Shutters

A photo album with the year on it

t-shirt from Castaway Cay for myself

a couple of magnets

refillable mug

kids got a stuffed Minnie and Goofy from Castaway Cay

Dd got a minnie hat and a wrap to go around her swimsuit in Nassau

we also picked up a couple of other souveniers for family while we were in Nassau.

Thanks! That does help. It's always nice to know general prices for stuff before we leave.

The largest retailer of the color changing products is Del Sol. They have a website with prices and product listings:

Del Sol

Thanks for the website. I was wondering if they had nail polish. Can't wait to pick up a few bottles. Does anyone know if the Del Sol store is close to the port in St. Thomas? The web site shows 3 different locations there. Thanks.

Every year we buy a Christmas ornament from our vacation or something special that happened that year. This year was very special (our first cruise) and I always buy one for each of the kids since they were babies. This way when they grow up and move away they will be able to decorate their trees. We also got each of the kids (3) the grey flannel Disney Cruise blankets. Shhhh they are for Christmas.
