What did we think of TEEN MOM 2?

Okay, no one mentioned last night's episode? That was nuts. That poor girl. Her mom is ridiculous and should have child protective services called on her. She is never home with her daughter and she knows the kid has an eating disorder and asks her to diet?? Seriously? I feel so badly for the girl, she and her BF really seem to be trying, but they have such an uphill battle with that mom.

Her mom was too much into playing with her boy toy. and it was probably his idea about the paying rent thing. wouldn't be surprised if her mom wasn't dipping into some drugs seriously. very sad. but the girl is now living with her DF. she and boy broke up, but he is in the baby's life still.

I fell asleep right after she brought the baby home but I felt like the mom was "punishing" her for getting pregnant - or was maybe reliving her teen pregnancy - maybe no one helped the mom when she was a teen so she had the same attitude with DD - "you'll figure it out on your own." Very very sad. The mom knew how it felt - she said she had been a teen mom - so she should have wanted better for her DD - to help her through it & to give her some support. Especially since she knows DD has an eating disorder. The DD seemed like such a nice young lady - not a partying disrespectful brat like many of the girls on Teen Mom, I felt so bad for her.

So she & the BF broke up at the end? I'll have to catch a re-run.

That's a shame her and her BF broke up, he seemed like one of the better dads that we have seen from the show.

I doubt it. Honestly, I think they need someone "real" to do the reunion shows. By 'real" i mean someone who will tell it like it is. Dr. Drew doesn't do that really.

For example this particular case:
Dr. Drew: Kalyn's mom, do you think maybe you should have been around more?
Mom" um, i did the best I could
Dr. Drew: Kayln, your mom said she did the best she could, isn't that enough, you are 16, 17 and you should be able to do all this by yourself.

of course I am being funny, but he glosses over stuff and doesn't say how things really are. when Kailyn and Joe were on the reunion, Dr. drew was fussing at her more then Joe. after that, I just thought they really needed a new person on there.

That is sad that they broke up, but really, they were under so much stress it isn't surprising. That boy couldn't afford that rent, plus supporting the baby, and giving the mom time to study. And where were his parents? Did they say? Cause they didn't help at all either.

Where exactly is the girl living now? With a friend?

I was excited that the show was on last night until I remembered that I really don't care for any of the people on it. I fast forwarded through most of it.

It's so painful to me to watch Janelle's story line. The fact that she can't learn from her mistakes and her mom (even though she takes care of Jace) doesn't do anything to help her break the cycle either, makes it just so sad. I really fear for her future.

I watched last night's episode, wow, Janelle still playing with Reefer Keifer. Her mom and her cussing each other out. I just feel so sorry for Jace.


Kailyn: good that grinch boy aka Joe is being more civil. interesting to see what happens next week when she things went to far. does she mean Joe spent the night? eeeww

Leah: how i wish they would figure out what is wrong the one twin. And it "appears" that Leah is a big ol harlott in next week or so they make us think about possibly cheating yet once again.

Chelsea: Someone please buy her a "toy" cause she seems to get all hot and bothered for wang a dang Adam. she so needs to self esteem and self worth. i wonder if she went to the doctor to get checked out after he told her he cheated on her. a exam for STD"s does humiliitation wonders for not wanting to take someone back. she is all giggly and playful instead of teling him sternly NO.

Chelsea is still a giggly immature spoiled brat who can't get over Adam, Jenelle was typical Jenelle, still with Reefer Kiefer & getting kicked out of her mom's house, Leah was still trying to figure out what's wrong with the baby, and Kailyn was still being verbally abused by dolt Jo.

I subscribe to US Weekly magazine so I have been keeping up with their personal lives & this was all old news last night. That had to be Halloween 2010, not this current one, because those kids would be two years old in Halloween of 2011, not one.

Also, did I post on here a few months ago that a a co-worker of mine owns a coffee shop & MTV was in her shop in late spring filming Kailyn? So this season is airing as "new" but it's really been filmed more than a year ago.

There is no excuse for Jenelle's behavior towards her mother but I think I can understand her frustration. Her mother is way too involved and controlling with the baby.

I couldn't agree more. Janelle needs to get her act together but it seems to me her mom wants her to fail. She seems to thrive on being right and letting Janelle know she thinks she a piece of crap. Everytime she tries to do something with Jace or for Jace there's mom taking over and letting her know she isn't doing it right.

Janelle's mother has custody of the kid, I dunno how she can be "too involved."

I thought it was booooring. Seemed like it picked up right where last season left off and as noted, nothing changed with those losers.

Janelle is Janelle - seemingly the smartest one but dumb as a fencepost (having him drop you off in front of the house and then drive off in your car, really?).

Collard Greens is creepy, offputting, a grifter, whiner and pot-stirring, drama-loving victim.

Leah is... bleh. I'm all for wanting a job but you can't go to school why? There's no night school in whatever little village that is? Stop spending 8 hours a day fluffing your hair and trying to discern what your husband you shouldn't have married is mumbling about and get an education. She's Maci 2.0 - does nothing, thinks she's all that.

Chelsea is vile, repulsive and wearing a roadkill wig. Also how the heck many teenagers with kids does she know?! There was just an absolutely endless parade of them. It seemed like every single girl she interacted with had a baby. Gee, Chelsea's enabling dad, maybe her environment is a clue here.

Talk about people who need jobs and educations - and some kind of cattle prod someone can use on her every time she moons the word 'Aaaahhhduuhhmb-uh.' She's too stupid for words.

Caitlin is the only one of the entire compliment of any of them I can stand, nevermind like. Farrah vaguely tries to do stuff, but these four are just such the bottom of the barrel.

Haha, this describes perfectly how I feel about Leah; she DOES remind me sooo much of Maci!

ITA! I can't even watch her segments anymore. I ff right through them, and I'm not one to ff through shows. I just can't even stand to watch it. They're both (Jenelle and her mom) abusive pieces of trash. They're both absolutely disgusting to watch. I wish someone could go in and get that child as far away from both of them as possible. It's absolutely disgusting.

I'm interested to see what happened with Corey and Leah.

I will probably start ff through Chelsea's segments too, if she gets back with that total jerk.

Kailyn's always been my favorite of the Teen Mom 2 ppl., and I'm so happy to see her and Jo to seem to get along pretty well. I wish she'd just tell him the truth about her boyfriend spending time with them though.

Tonight's episode:

Jenelle and reefer Keifer: living in a car, smacking each other, yes true love-not!
Honestly, if I were to talk smack and say I was going to beat someone's butt then throw a coin jar at them, I'd be surprised not to get hit back. I wouldn't be going to the magistrate saying he did this, when I was the one who instigated. don't play the victim if you start it.

Leah: seriously hope they figure out what is going on with that precious baby.

Kailyn: her mom and her boyfriend=sauce monsters. her mom is honestly pathetic i can't stand for a "mom" to pick her boy toys over her child.

Chelsea: yea, keep going back to him girl. was that a wig she had on at first when she was reading his facebook message? the knee thing sucks. And you know, how long was Chelsea out of school? I mean really, how long do you need to study for the G.E.D.? not knocking it, I took it because I was in a car wreck and missed alot of school, but really. It's not the bar exam.

And the editing: is it Halloween still or near Christmas? Chelsea's mom had pumpkin earrings then Corey was going into the trailer with the Christmas tree and the wreath on the door, could we stay with one season, lol.


I'm in a really silly mood: Dr. Drew gets on my nerves, I'd rather have Tyler Perry dress up as Madea and on the reunion special just tell it like it is, lol.

And another thing: the previews for this week, some of them didn't show. Like Adam taking Aubree and speeding off(or at least I didn't see that) or Kailyn having Grinch boy over and telling Jordan things went too far, she isn't even in her apartment yet.

Ok, I know that Chelsea isn't living with any relatives but didn't her dad pay rent on that house as long as she was trying to get her GED? Whats the hold up? I think that Adam only shows his face when he needs someplace to stay or some camera time. He had little interaction with his daughter last season and her dad was right to be ticked off. Chelsea is dumb enough to let this guy stay over again and I don't think Daddy should pay the rent if this happens again.

Jenelle. Trainwreck. Just a loud, hemp-smelling trainwreck.

Kailyn does seem to have a better head on her shoulders than most. It does suck that her mom doesn't see that despite having a child at such a young age, Kailyn isn't doing so badly for herself. It sucks she has to deal with such crap and even though Jo is kind of a jerk sometimes it is nice that they get along better.

I feel really bad for Leah. I hope things get better for her daughter but I can't help but watch the season with a little bit of dread.
