WHAT did I do wrong??????

I made my first of many shirts for my son's birthday. It turned out SO cute and I was SO proud of it. However, when I was putting laundry away I came across a PLAIN grey shirt, the same grey shirt that once had his Scooby Doo birthday design on it. . The image was COMPLETLY gone, no sign of it WHAT SO EVER anywhere. So where did I go wrong? Can anybody shed some light on this??????

That is SOOOO bizarre! I've never heard of that happening!

Eager to hear if anyone else had this issue though. Maybe you didn't iron it long enough? Weird...

ooo, the transfer monster is on the loose...I have no idea as to what you did or didn't do..I have done many many shirts and so far this hasn't happened to me....I feel bad for you...

I washed it inside out and didn't dry it. DH thought that it was SOOOOO funny (actually so did I), but I would really like to know what I did wrong. It was a Hanes plain grey shirt (which it is again )

Did you find the transfer in the machine?

Nope, Transfer was NOWHERE to be found. It was fine the day that he wore it .

WOW! That's weird. I thought that maybe the transfer came undone and fell off. You would think that there would be remnanats of the transfer on the shirt. Maybe the transfer itself was bad.

are you sure you're not imagining that the transfer was on the shirt to begin with? (jk)

It's GOT to be somewhere! Perhaps stuck in your other clothes that were in the washing machine at the same time????????????

As far as it coming off, I can only think that perhaps you ironed it on just lightly enough to get it to stick initially but not well enough to go through the wash w/o coming off. I've not heard of this phenomenon before; guess yours is a first!
