So I printed out my first transfer yesterday and it looked very good. It was bright and the colors vivid. I had already washed all the tees.
Today I turned the iron on (per the directions, to the highest cotton setting). I made sure the tee was extra flat. I peeled the backing and placed on the tee. Now, here is where i started to get confused. Cause to make the design come out right (so the names weren't backwards) I had to put it sticky side up??? I would have thought sticky side down. Well as soon as I started to iron it stuck to the iron. Maybe I should mention that I am not the most domestic person you'll ever meet and when my dear fiancee sees the iron (he irons ALL of our clothes, cause I can't be trusted) he is going to have a cow!
So what did I do wrong and how can I fix it. Thankfully the tee doesn't have any damage but I have a lot of shirts I would like to do for our upcoming honeymoon. =D
Thanks!
Jes
