What did I do? FP reservation question....

I had a 6 day park hopper plus pass. My 60 day FP window opened on June 21st. I went ahead and booked Sun,Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun. I wasn't aware that the system was based on ticket length and not room stay. As you can see, it allowed me to book 7 days on a 6 day pass.

I have decided to come in a day early to get a full day out of our arrival day. So we will be staying outside Disney on Aug. 19th. Probably arrive around 4pm. That gives us an evening at AK. I went to add FP times for then, and was told I was at the max. So....I added a day to our pass. I now have 7 day PHP passes. Thinking I was good to go...I am still blocked from making anymore FP times.

Was it a fluke on Disney's part to allow me to make the reservation for 7 days on a 6 day pass? Or am I missing something here?

Yes. We have a 4-night resort stay coming up, with only a 1-day ticket. We were only allowed to make one day's worth of FP+ selections. That is how the system is supposed to work (unless you have an annual pass).

No. It is so strange that it allowed me to book an extra day.

Maybe because your first day is offsite, it won't let you book that day until the 30 day mark?

It sounds like your tickets are part of a package. You can not book FP+ with package tickets for days before your package begins.

Do you have any old tickets still showing up on your account. Sometimes an old ticket will stick around and allow you to book FP+.
