What decor did you use for DP??

I know I'd like for it to be minimal but I need ideas ladies!

Where are you having the DP? I bet the type/amount of decorations depends on the location.

We actually didn't use any! Originally, we had the gel cylinders that are common for dessert parties in our BEO but I removed them last minute. I'm not sure why since they were not expensive but I suddenly felt the need to save money, I guess.

I don't think much decor is needed and our guests definitely didn't notice that we didn't have centerpieces.

The table set up was just fine - they put out black tablecloths, the food display is presented beautifully and everyone is so focused on Illuminations (and their VIP view) that it's a really easy way save a few bucks.

We did the gel candles of different colors and LED lights. I honestly don't think we even needed them though. We also coordinated the colors with different Disney Couples using plush. Then we gave away the plush characters at the end of the night to our guests. They really enjoyed taking them home.
We used Sago Cay as our location if that helps.

I'm having some battery operated votives and confetti on the tables shaped like palm trees and flamingos (pink and green are the wedding colors).

Are those the free votives that they offer for an Illuminations DP? We are having votives that are no extra charge, but I wasn't sure if they are battery operated or not.

Did you get your confetti through Disney? Did they have alot of options? We are interested in getting pink and purple Mickey confetti. I think our DP planner said it is $4 per bag and each bag will cover 2-3 tables?
