Mine wasn't today but earlier in the week and I am excited about it!
On Tuesday night I took DD10 to find a dress for the Daddy-Daughteer Valentines Dance. She found one at Justice on clearance for $8. Great, so webought it and wit lots of otehr deals and my 40% off coupon we got a few other things. We got home and noticed the dress had a tear. It wasn't awful, but I told her I would go to a different Justice the next day to see if they had another one. Well, they did but on top of that they had racks of really cheap clearance stuff so I went looking. In the mean time the employee told me all the prices were ringing up cheaper then on the tag. I hit a goldmine! In the end with the 40% off coupon I got about $550 worth of clothes for $100. Also, she price adjusted the sale from the day before giving me back $20+. I got hoodies for $4 and $6, 3 dressed (the one for the dance, one for her 5th grade graduation and one for DD8) all for $6 each. I got DD8 a jogging suit top, bottom and tank that retailed for $100 for $10! They were so excited because their friends at school wear Justice literally every day, and while they love the stuff there and have some, we can only afford so much of it. This was prefect! So, I am still pretty excited about that!
My other deal I am still excited about is from last week. Well, it started with my DD8 wanting an American Girl doll for Christmas. I couldn't bring myself to paying that much, it just was so much more then we can afford. So the day after Christmas we were at Target and saw the Madame Alexander dolls that are the same size and still really nice on clearnace for $15. I told her she could pick one out for her birthday (in Januray.) She loved it but wanted a dress that matched the doll like all her friends had. Even the cheap ones are pretty pricey so I told her she'd need to use her own money, she decided to hold off. I found one last week. It was the only one, probably a return from Christmas. It was black velvet on top, red satin on the bottom and a red rose around the middle with a tie in the back. And of course a matching one for the doll. It was retailed at almost $80 and rang up $18. That was a price I could handle and perfect for the Daddy-Daughter dance. She and her doll looked beautiful together.
So, nothing today (though wish me luck, DH and I are going shopping for a fridge. Romantic, huh?

) But I am still pretty excited!!!
