I don't know if this thread exists but here goes......Did you find a great deal today? Something you couldn't leave behind because it was just to good.. What was it? Where did you buy it? How much?

I'll start I got a Denby casserole pot at home goods retails for $145.
I paid $19.99

Tell me and everyone else about your best shopping deals instore or online..

I didn't find one today, but went shopping with a friend. Her dd(20) had been looking at a cute shirt at Wal-Mart, but it was $9 and didn't buy it. When we went last night, it was on clearance for $3. She bought both of her dds one for Valentine's Day! I love it when I hold off on buying something and then find it on clearance later on!

We found $109 boots at LLBean online for $64.99. I had $20 free gift card we got at xmas (spend $25, get $10 gift card) and free shipping. So he got his awesome boots for $44.99 plus tax. We saved $60.

This weekend I also booked our hotel for upcoming WDW trip. I found Sheraton Safari Suite for $79 on expedia (elsewhere was $120). I googled "expedia coupon" and found a $50 coupon that worked and applied for their cc and got another $50 credit. So our $450 for 5 nights is now $350. That is just a little more than one night of our 8 nights we had planned originally at the Poly for this trip. :)

I am always feeling very miserly at this time of year.

My deal isn't as great as everyone's posted, but I'm still pretty pleased. I bought my boys 4 shirts, one pair of shoes and a pair of sandals for me for $63 on Old Navy this morning. The boy's items were all clearance (school clothes for next year). I used a code to get free shipping off of a $50 kid's purchase and another code for 30% off one adult item.

Mine wasn't today but earlier in the week and I am excited about it!

On Tuesday night I took DD10 to find a dress for the Daddy-Daughteer Valentines Dance. She found one at Justice on clearance for $8. Great, so webought it and wit lots of otehr deals and my 40% off coupon we got a few other things. We got home and noticed the dress had a tear. It wasn't awful, but I told her I would go to a different Justice the next day to see if they had another one. Well, they did but on top of that they had racks of really cheap clearance stuff so I went looking. In the mean time the employee told me all the prices were ringing up cheaper then on the tag. I hit a goldmine! In the end with the 40% off coupon I got about $550 worth of clothes for $100. Also, she price adjusted the sale from the day before giving me back $20+. I got hoodies for $4 and $6, 3 dressed (the one for the dance, one for her 5th grade graduation and one for DD8) all for $6 each. I got DD8 a jogging suit top, bottom and tank that retailed for $100 for $10! They were so excited because their friends at school wear Justice literally every day, and while they love the stuff there and have some, we can only afford so much of it. This was prefect! So, I am still pretty excited about that!

My other deal I am still excited about is from last week. Well, it started with my DD8 wanting an American Girl doll for Christmas. I couldn't bring myself to paying that much, it just was so much more then we can afford. So the day after Christmas we were at Target and saw the Madame Alexander dolls that are the same size and still really nice on clearnace for $15. I told her she could pick one out for her birthday (in Januray.) She loved it but wanted a dress that matched the doll like all her friends had. Even the cheap ones are pretty pricey so I told her she'd need to use her own money, she decided to hold off. I found one last week. It was the only one, probably a return from Christmas. It was black velvet on top, red satin on the bottom and a red rose around the middle with a tie in the back. And of course a matching one for the doll. It was retailed at almost $80 and rang up $18. That was a price I could handle and perfect for the Daddy-Daughter dance. She and her doll looked beautiful together.

So, nothing today (though wish me luck, DH and I are going shopping for a fridge. Romantic, huh? ;) ) But I am still pretty excited!!! :yay:

Great job on the Justice deals, I wish my DD still wore those sizes!

I am going to check out Justice tomorrow. DD7 just got a bunch of GC for her Bday and I have the 40% off coupon. I hope I get as lucky as you did!

I found a Fiskark's 18 pc. Scissor set for half price, a camera case for our camcorder for $10.00. A nice warm fleece sweater for a trip 1/2 price and a pair of jeans at 1/2 price.

I love bargins.

DD had a gc for JC Penney and she got a $25 hoodie on clearance for $9.99 and a t-shirt on clearance $5 :)

What is the code for old navy--my sister is looking for one. Thanks

ONGET30 for 30% off one adult item
ONGIVE50 for free shipping on a kid's $50 purchase

Both of these are for non-cardholders, but there were other codes for cardholders on retailmenot.com.

Took DD11 shopping yesterday so she could spend her birthday money. That girl won't buy something if it's not on clearance. There was a black holiday dress at Belk's that she had tried on months ago when it first came out. She is a gymnast and is cut and this sleeveless dress looked amazing on her, but there was no reason to spend $70 on it. Yesterday she found it on clearance for $7. She was so excited!
Also got some fuzzy pj/sweat pants for $4.

Didn't happen today but two weekends ago I was up late at night on Land's End's website and found a bathing suit that regularly retailed for 99.50 for 19.99. I snatched it up for our April trip to Dis. Lord knows I've needed a new bathing suit for years but I refuse to spend what most places want for one.

I might find a deal today tho...hubby and I are about to leave to hit the TJMaxx and Marshall's before my BFF returns with our girls. She's had them since yesterday.

T.

I went to 2 different Target today & did the Venus razor & Olay body wash deal. I rec'd $10.00 in GC's for the 1st transaction & I rolled that for the 2nd & rec'd another $10 in GC's. In hand I still have 2 $5 GC's PLUS I can mail in both receipts for the $15 Olay rebate--$30 total plus the GC & 6 Olay body washes & 4 Venus razors :)

I love coupons/deals :):banana::banana::cheer2::

Our local grocery store had the Bird's Eye Steamfresh veggies 10/$10. I had a 50¢ off 1 which my store doubles so they were free!! I had 10 coupons so 10 free bags.

Had to buy new soccer cleats for my middle 2 boys ~ 12 yr old's were not quite full price  but found a $30 pair on clearance for $10 for 8 yr old! Also bought an underarmour hot weather non-fitted short sleeve shirt (w/soccer player screen print) for $8 on clearance from $24. LOTS of clearance at Sports Authority - definitely worth checking out!

Thanks to my Dis-friends, I got my daughter a new Vera Bradley backpack for school next year, matching lunch bag, matching zip clip and pencil case for her notebook for $82!! A Dis board member listed a discount code, the items were on sale and I bought them through dbates for 4% back!!
These backpacks last longer than any she's had, so she is all set to start high school next year with some new stuff!
