What days should I plan for F&W 2017?

Hi all! I have decided I want to make a trip dedicated to F&W next year. I have been several times, but it has always been on trips for other reasons...work, family reunion, etc. I have never been able to plan for seminars, parties, etc. I am thinking about the first week in October 2017, but I don't want to make it a full week since it will likely be a solo trip. What days should I plan on in order to be able to make the most out of the trip. For example, what days have the Party of the Senses been scheduled? Are there any other events that are traditionally scheduled on a specific day of the week?

My 11 month DVC window is coming up in a few weeks and I want to get my ressie in.

Party for the Senses is on select Saturday nights. But Saturday nights are the busiest nights of the festival.

As Hopefully said, PFtS is usually on selected Saturday evenings, although this year there is an additional one on Friday Oct 28. Allears has a comprehensive archive of F&W Festivals going back over 10 years so you can see which events tend to be on the same day of the week every year and which move around. There's usually a Sunday Morning breakfast event, Parisian Breakfast has been on Saturday mornings, and there are daily culinary demos and beverage seminars, but the schedule for the special events isn't released until July or August so we just make an educated guess and hope for the best.

On the other hand Friday evening and Saturday will be much busier than weekdays so you have to weigh a wonderful experience like the PFtS against a much less crowded weekday.

We like to arrive on a Sunday, after the first couple of weeks of F&W, and then use annual passes or park hoppers to come and go to Epcot for three or four visits.
