I'll be there on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. I have a 3 day hopper. What days are best for each park? Obviously one day there won't be any park visit.

Since you have three of four days to go to the parks, and you'll probably want to go as soon as you get there, I would do it like this:

Saturday - Disneyland

Sunday - California Adventure

Monday - Downtown Disney/Hotels

Tuesday - Disneyland

I think a lot of people will disagree with me regarding DL on Saturday, but I know if it were me I wouldn't want to wait to see DL. I'd be too excited and I'd want to do it right away. With your park hopper you get to go twice. The second time being a Tuesday which will be much less crowded, so you'll be able to do everything you may have missed while there on Saturday.

I hope you have a great time!!! :earsgirl:

Since I don't know what your dates are, it's hard to advise you, but actually, I don't disagree with Saturady--I prefer Saturday's over Sundays because I find it's a bit less crowded. Saturday is a blockout day for S. CA APs and sometimes even deluxe ones, so there's fewer AP holders in on Saturdays (often just premiums can get it) over Sundays.

We just went the last weekend of October (we go twice a year for 4 days each time) and I disagree about Sat. It is by far the most packed day at DL. There are large crowds, even in the off season. DCA is much more manageable on a Sat. Then on Sun. I would hit DL early, it does not get busy until later in the day. Monday would be the day to go to both parks and see all the things you missed - most attractions should be a walk-on. Tuesday I would see a movie in DTD and shop, relax and enjoy your hotel. I know we all have different opinions, but to me DL on a Sat. - no way.

Have an awesome vacation, whatever you decide:)

Thanks guys. We're going in mid March (supposedly one of the less busy times). I agree, it will be very hard to avoid going to DL on day one, but I'll probably have to decide when and if I find out a parade is running that might not be running on Sunday. Otherwise, I might try and hold off and do DCA on Saturday instead.

I know DH won't mind. He's all pumped up to go on California Screamin'.;)

We LOVE that ride!! We would go on it all day if we could. It's relatively long for a rollercoaster, the way it starts out is the best though, IMO. You are going to have such a great time! :Pinkbounc

Go to DL Saturday morning, I like to be there 1/2 hour before opening. Enjoy DL and if it starts to get really crowded, head over to DCA. It's 5 minutes from one to the other. I like to start and end the day at DL with a few hours at DCA in between.
