What day is better, Sunday or Tuesday?

I spend half my money on WDW, and waste the rest.

Trying to plan a US and IOA day next August(WDW for 10 days), was wondering if a weekend day is a lot busier than a weekday. Which would you recommend? :confused3

are you planning only for a day trip or do you plan to stay onsite one night?

At this point a day trip, but will be watching hotel prices and may grab one wether we use it or not. But, for now just an off site day trip question.

I would choose a weekday to avoid the local (orlando) crowds.

Hi Jade-I am glad you asked this question because we want to do the same thing in June. My thoughts would be on a Tuesday. How do you plan on getting there from WDW? Will you have a car?

Have a great trip-
Karen

Yes, we have 11 going and have rented 2 vans but only 6 are going to US one day. Last time we actually rented a RPR room and never even used it to get FOTL but its so high this year.

okay-call me odd but I have a question about Shrek 4D. Does anything "touch" you during this show? Put me on Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, Rockin Roller Coaster, etc and I am okay. But put me on a ride that something may touch me and I am a mess! I can handle Muppet's 4D but not It's Tough to Be a Bug.

Thanks,
Karen

aahhhhh-sorry-I meant this to be a new post!!!

many years ago, this is before IOA, when i stayed off site, i always went to UO on a monday. it seemed a lot less crowded. think it was because the weekend brought in the crowds and the people that do disney and visit at UO make disney their start for the monday.

guess i would choose tuesday if that was the only other option you have.

just be sure to do an early start and be there before the gates open.
have a great vacation and day in the park !

All days are available, so Monday may be the ticket-it makes sense. I wonder if there is any tie to early entry or ee night at MK?

in the years since 1993 that i have been vacationing in orlando, i have found most people start and end their vacations on a weekend.

with that in mind, most do mk when first at the parks.
people then tend to migrate to UO after the first few days after disney.

i have found doing UO on a monday very beneficial with less crowds.

since i have long past stayed off site, and only stay on site, i still find mondays a low crowd day until noon time.
last year on columbus day (monday) i was at the park until 2:00 in the afternoon and did not see much on lines. i was at UO side that date not IOA
