What day is better for what park?

Hello,

We will be visiting Disneyland on Aug. 18, 19, 20 (Saturday-Monday). Just planning out our itinerary and wondering what park I should visit on what day. The hours appear to be the same for all 3 days. Is Carsland better to visit on a certain day? Any idea? TIA

Usually Sundays are less crowded, so DCA on Sunday!

Always hop to both parks on every day you'll be there. This isn't WDW - the parks are just yards from each other (metres, for our northern brethern). Hopping increases the number of FPs you can acquire, and allows you to go where the crowds are the least.

Since Aug 20 represents the end of the AP Blockout, you would be better off not to be in DCA on that day - at least not very much. I would plan the 20th mostly for DL and be sure to do DCA and the new stuff on Aug 18-19.

Hydroguy is right--Aug 20 will be terrible. If it's possible to change your plans, you would be much better off the Friday before. I suspect the 18th will be your least crowded day. Report back after. I would be interested if indeed this is the case.
