What day for MK & Blizzard Beach??

I'm sure this has been asked before, but here goes again. We have been to WDW several times, so on this trip we're thinking of only doing the MK on a day & Blizzard Beach on another day. Any suggestions as to which days would be best to visit these 2 parks? Would a Saturday be totally insane for either? BTW, we are going to be there in mid-July. Thanks for any help out there!

Saturday would be the worst for either one. But if you have to do one on Saturday, do Blizzard Beach. Avoid the MK on Saturday at all costs! Really, any day during the week would be fine for either park, just keep in mind that MK has an EMH on Thursday, so it could get a bit more crowded later on in the day.

We have always been to MK on a Friday as Spectromagic has always been on, the park is open later and the crowds aren't as bad as a Saturday. We usually opt to do the waterparks on a weekday as the locals tend to use the parks at weekends.

Thank you for the replies so far. This is exactly what I've been looking for. I remember reading one time a "flow-type" comparison of park attendance showing which days might be best to hit which parks & the philosophy behind it. For the life of me, though, I can't remember when or where I saw this, so here I am. This is where you find the experts, anyway, right?! Any other advice out there?

I asked a CM during our last visit which days were busier in MK, and he told me Mondays and Saturdays. Weekends are also when a lot of the locals hit the waterparks and DD Disney area.

We've always enjoyed MK on a Sunday, with the return of EE and the change to Sunday, I don't know what it is like now.
