I had originally thought that Sat. would be better of the 2 since it is black out day for 2 of the APs but I read on a board that it is always better to avoid DL on Saturday, do DCA on Sat. and then DL on Sunday. We are only going to be there for 4 days (Sat - Tues.) so I want to get the most out of our stay without tons of lines.

Thanks,

Beth

If Im reading your post correctly, it looks like you will have 4 days at the parks- sat, sun, mon and tuesday. If that is the case, I think you will find that it is not an issue of which park, which day but rather, what time of the day do we switch over to the other park.
It is very reasonable to view DL and CA as one BIG park rather than two seperate parks. Going from one to the other is very easy.

I also recommend hopping between parks on every day.

Last weekend, I think Saturday was So Cal AP block out, and it was noticeably less crowded to me than on Sunday when everyone was allowed in.

Oct has become a holiday month...

Might want to see if there is any weird blackouts cuz CM now have blackout dates on all Fridays and Oct 31st.

Just FYI, due to the blockout for the APs, Sats are considered less busier than Sundays.

It doesn't matter what day I go on, I always start the morning at opening at DL and then as the afternoon approaches I hop over to DCA. I then return to DL in the evening to use fastpasses I collected that morning.

I agree with the others, park hop. Personally, my first day at the parks, I have to do the walk down Main St. I couldn't imagine going to DCA the first thing on the first day.

Thanks... we are actually not going to DLR until November. We will probably do some park hopping but plan on going to a park in AM, take an afternoon break and going back into one of the park in the evening. We are traveling with a 4 and 8 year old and they will need some time aware from the parks, as will we.

Thanks again,

Beth
