My bf and I are looking into taking a day off of work in May to run to either BB or TL. STILL haven't been to either one! Sheesh! Anyone know WHICH day of the week is better to go (less people)? I was thinking Thursday, May 20th....but he thinks Thursdays may be busy. Suggestions?

According to the "books" the beginning of the week is less crowded, so that's when I've always planned it for. Don't know about the end of the week.

Beginning of the week is less crowded - or at least it was when I went. I have this theory ... Most people do their vacations by the week (Sat - Sat or Sun - Sun) and when they first get there .. they are so dang excited about being at WDW .. they just don't want to spend ANY time away from the parks. As the week goes on, they need a break and that's when they hit the water parks.
OK - this isn't really a theory .. its the way we do it usually :p
BUT .. every time we drive by the parking lot of the water parks, we always laugh because you can "see" the crowd growing every day - more cars as the week progresses.

I remember reading somewhere that a lot of local people have annual water park passes and so go at weekends.
Whatever you do don't be put off. My family would be happy if we only did the water parks they love them so much. Just make sure you get there for rope drop, throw your stuff on a chair in the shade and then hit the major slides that will have lines later on. You can sit back and relax or swim when the lines get too long.

We arrive MCO next Sunday (May 2) evening. We've planned TL for our first day. So, next Monday, a week from today that's where I'll be! We've gone on different days of the week in the past, (but never a weekend) and have never encountered unmanagable crowds. The best advice I can give is to just be sure to be online when the park opens. But if you live that closely, I'm sure you don't need to be reminded of that. :)
