What dates are you going if free dining is offered?

Ok, just trying to get an idea of when everyone is going. Do you think it will be less busy mid or towards the end of the offer? We are planning on either Sept. 9-15 or 22-29 and can't decide?

To make it all worse I read that it might also be in Late Nov Early Dec dates opened at which I will need to make another trip to WDW...shucky darn!

We're going the first week it's available. We booked it months ago and we're lucky that it starts that week.

oooohh....didn't hear anything about late Nov/early Dec dates...that may change everything...hmmmm.....

What did you hear?

We are going 9/20 - 10/4 but may have to rethink it if we can go after the X-mas decorations are up. No swimming but it is nice and cool (sometimes downright cold) in the parks.

We are going the 30th of Sept through Oct. 5....Looks like from what the buzz is, that we are gonna miss out. Sounds like it is only gonna be offerend through the 22nd of Sept.

Where did you see/hear that they might include late November/early December?????? :confused3 I have a trip booked for December...but I'd be tempted to change the dates for free dining!

I think people are confusing a AAA newsletter that listed dates in Nov/Dec that offered a "discount" (not really when you do the math other than the AAA discount) with free-dining. Those dates or that promotion is not free dining.... you definitely pay for it. The only rumored free dining appears to be Aug 26 - Sept. 22.

Were going...we've booked Sept 18-22. Booked months ago to go along with a Disney cruise we booked about a year and a half ago...I'm just soooo excited that this trip is falling right at the end of the free DDP. We missed it by a couple weeks last time we went to the world. And we didn't have the chance to make it last year...so this will be our first time eating for free:goodvibes When we went in 2005 we purchased the DDP...and LOVED it.

for me it's will be 7-17 september, i have already done my ADR and i hope stay at Pop century:cool1:

We are going sep. 1-9. Cant wait till we get there, usually go twice a year but got to much going on for a spring trip so september will have to do.

:cool1:

We are going Aug 25th thru Sept 2nd. Made my ADR's already.

I guess I need to make 2 ressies for the POR

We're going Sept 15 thru Sept 21. We're actually going even if they don't offer the free dining. But I sure am wishing that they do. We're on a tight budget this year, and honestly, we probably even shouldn't be going to Disney, but my family is going, so we're tagging along! =) The free dining would save us so much money!

We're booked for Sept. 3-12. We were hoping to go earlier in August before school starts, but decided our daughter could miss a few days in order to get the free dining.

We are hoping to go September 20-29. That way we can take advantage of free dining (by checking in before the promotion ends), I can be there for my birthday (9/24) and we can catch the opening of the F&W Fest. We were originally going in October, and were very excitied about being there for F&W, but Free Dining trumps F&W for us, so we will just catch the opening day. :)

Of course, if we can't get ressies at POR for those dates (have to stay at POR because there's 5 in our family) we will have to look at either changing our dates or booking adjoining rooms at a Value resort... but I really want POR. I can just hear myself on the phone now with CRO... "Ok, so tell me ANY 9-day period of time I can book at POR with free dining and I will take it!!" LOL :lmao:

We're thinking ASMo, September 10-16. Can't wait to book on Monday morning!
