I've been accepted for Merchandise for Spring Advantage. I went to log in and the dates I could pick were Jan 27 Feb 1 or Feb 8th.

I'm stressing over whether to pick Feb 1 or 8th? Any advice? Does it really matter?

Also how difficult is it to request days off. My bf will be graduating from basic training while I'm down there (I don't know the date yet, because they have yet to tell him when he is leaving for it) I really want to go to this!

I don't think it matters that much what date you choose. Personally I chose the 27th.
I went under the logic that more apartments will be open the sooner you arrive, as well as more classes, and areas to work. I don't know if any of this is true, since I have not done the program before, but I figured it was the best way to look at it. And I wanted to get there as early as I could.

As for the requesting days off, from everything I have heard, it all depends on the area that you work. You request them on the HUB. I read one posting that said as long as you request at least 3 weeks in advance, you have a good chance of getting the day off.

Hope that helps!

I agree, the 27th. You want all the WDW time you can get!! I get there the 6th of January this year but leave April 13th or 14th. :(

Yup, go at least 3 weeks out on your requests for off time. Or, if you get lucky like me last year and have awesome managers and an awesome supervisor, ADOs are possible (authorized day off).

Good luck and have fun!!
