We did MNSSHP this past October & would like to go again next year. We went on Thursday 10/6 & it was crowded. Unfortunately they cancelled the 1st parade since it was raining so the 2nd parade was mobbed.

Just wanted to know what date & day you went & how the crowds were in preparation for next Oct's planning! Thanks!

We did the very first one on September 30. I really didn't think the crowds were that bad. We got a spot on Main Street for the 1st parade right in front of Casey's, 15 minutes before it started.

Three years ago, we went the middle of October. Did 2, MNSSHP, during our stay. Not sure of the exact dates, but I remember, one was a Sunday, one a Friday. The Sunday party was way less crowded.

We went on Friday the 21st. It wasn't too crowded at all - but there was a downpour around dinner time (5:45 or so) that lasted about 20 minutes, that may have scared some folks off. We had a great time - and were even chosen to be in the early parade. I would definitely do it again.

Thursday the 20th-busy but not packed. Had a front row seat for the 2nd parade in front of the castle at 9:45. Biggest crowd seemed to be around the castle for the fireworks.

Will absolutely definitely do it again.

Tuesday, 10/25. It was the day after hurricane Wilma went through, but it was still moderately crowded. (I hate to think what it would have been like without a hurricane.) We had a blast. We'll do it again in the future.

Sunday, October 16. Not too crowded at all! Had great seats for the first parade, but we staked out a spot pretty early. Lots of fun, even though DS was ready to go back to the hotel at 10 PM!

It was crowded, but I didn't think it was overly crowded. This was also an "annual pass discount night" in case you were not aware, which probably caused higher attendance as well.

I thought the whole evening was going to be ruined due to rain, but it stopped right after our CRT dinner (about 7:00) and was wonderful (but HOTTER than you know what) all the way through.

We also stayed until the very last second it was open and walked on every ride we went to after 10:00. Loved it!! BTW, we were dressed up as Queen of Hearts, Jafar (Aladdin pointed DH out as his car went by in parade, DH was traumatized) Dash & Hercules, just in case you saw us!

hi, we went on the 25th oct and the 27th oct and found both nights where great, we had little or no waits for the rides and we found a space for the parade with no problems, hope this helps susie2

We went on Oct. 27th. We found the crowds to be very light, all the rides were 5 minutes or less of a wait. It was a great night to go!

We went on 10/31, it was a sold-out night. The crowds were mainly on Main St., once you got off Main St. the crowds weren't that bad at all. The longest we waited for anything was 15 minutes for Mickey's Philharmagic. At the end of the night (a little after midnight) the CM's were announcing that there was less than 5 minute wait for Haunted Mansion. One of the CS places (Columbia Harbour House I think) was giving away free sodas and the CMs were giving out candy by the fist fulls as we were leaving the park.

I'd go on Halloween night again in a minute. :wizard:

We went on Friday Oct. 7th and it wasnt crowded at all. It looked like it would rain any minute but never actually did but it was very humid! Our costumes were lightweight so it wasnt that bad, but it felt like it was into the 90's up until midnight. We loved Hallowishes and still listen to it today! Halloween is our favorite holiday and we are actually planning on going next year. I just made a post on the community board about 5 minutes ago if anyone knew where to get the "Redhead" costume from the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride"

We went on the 23rd for Mickey's Not So Scary Hurricane Party! Talk about rain, it poured. Went back on the 28th, it was great. Weather was perfect and I didn't think it was very crowded. Also went on the 30th. Weather was a little cooler than the 28th, but no rain and it was definitely more crowded. Even though I didn't think it was that bad. We are planning 2 visits next year, both the week before Halloween, probably the 25th thru the 30th.

We went on October 30th, which was sold out by around 4:30 when we arrived (already had tickets). We were worried that it would be busy since it was sold out. But we actually thought it was great. The only real waits were for some rides in fantasy land (note: we don't have kids yet, so we didn't do carousel, dumbo, etc). However, there was essentialy no wait for POTC, Space Mtn (rode 5 times in a row :cool1: ), Thunder Mtn,. It was great, can't wait for next year.

We went on 10/6 as well and it was more crowded then any MVMCP we have been to. We didn't do any rides that night because it took all our time trick-or-treating and standing in line to get pics with the characters.
