What CROCS did for me!!

At home and on weekends, I wear my crocs without socks. For work, I wear socks the same color as the shoes. It seems to "dress" them up a bit.

DD and I went to the dermatalogist the other day,and the first thing she said is what are you wearing
on your feet! After discussing crocs with her at length, she asked for the web site and said " i am going to buy a pair for my self!"
I couldn't imagine life without my crocs now!!! :goodvibes

I finally joined the Croc bandwagon. :cool1: I ordered my pair of pearl white Niles (I'm more of an open toe sandal person) and they will ship today (same day shipping - whoo hoo!). I should have them in 3-4 business days. Hopefully they will not be too big. I ordered a Medium (8-9), I usually wear a 9. Can't wait, we leave for Disney in 2 weeks. :cheer2:

You guys talked me into them! I just went to Nordstrom's and bought a pair. (They carry them in their downstairs shoe dept.)
I'm wearing them now, and so far, so good. ::MinnieMo

I wanted to add that I'm not trying to bash Crocs or something like that at all. I like my cheapie version and plan to wear them. I didn't think to ask my podi if he had tried them himself, I just thought his reaction to be pretty severe for a usually calm guy-I've never heard him swear in the 12+ years I've known him so I got a chuckle out of his remarks.

I also don't think he is the "be-all, end-all" type of person I'd get my info from. I also have lots of back/foot issues and feel that I definitely know my body better than anyone else, especially at this point.

I guess I wanted to post what he said to see if anyone else had heard this type of remark. No shoe is going to work for everyone--I tried Birkies a few times over the past 15 years and could never find a pair that was "right" for me-too much arch pain.

Glad to see that many are enjoying their shoes! :)

Oh we know you wern't--and it is good to have the POD squade weigh in, I am just a firm believer that you should listen to your body and what it tells you. If you go to the Crocs site you can read all the testimonials there and there are some good ones and there are also some people on other threads that say their doctor actually recommends them. I didn't mean to offend you--but as you can see from this thread I am very passionate about these shoes and believe in them--What the doctor says has no bearing on my discission to wear them if they feel good.
Thanks for your post and keep letting us know how they work for you!!

I ordered my Niles last week through nofeargear.com and the order still hasn't been processed. I really need some sandals NOW! I went to the nearest Payless to see if they had the knock-offs, but they didn't.

Is there anywhere I can order the Nile and get it soon?

I'm such an impatient person.

Try Zappos.com, although they might not have the niles--Try Raiseyourpulse.com or RYP sports...they were pretty quick for me.
Google Crocs and see where else to get them. I think the main site is really backed up now so your best bet is to get them online. Also, REI might have them too.

You can also go to the Crocs site and pull up the dealers from the bottom and click on your state and see if there are any in your area and start making phone calls--Good Luck.

I got a pair of the Payless Airwalk version of Crocs yesterday. The lady said they were already selling fast. I got the last pair in my size! I usually wear a size 9 1/2 - 10 and an 8 fit me in this version. I wore them on a long power walk last night to test them out. I walked for almost three miles at a "lose your breath while you talk" pace. I had no problems and my feet felt great during and after! It felt weird to be exercising in them since I live in my Nike's for that sort of thing. If they passed my power walking on different terrain - we hit a lot of sandy spots left over from Winter and rocky areas by construction - then they will be in my suitcase for WDW!!!

I want to order Niles, but the two times I called, the people I talked to couldn't confirm if niles were being sold in Larges yet. I figured that if the custormer service reps don't know, then who does???? I'll try again soon since I would like to get the Niles.

Thanks for all your info on this product and similar ones!!!!

That was a no go :sad2: There's no store anywhere in my part of the state or the neighboring state either.

I'll try those other sites as well.

Raise Your Pulse doesn't have the Nile version, but anyone looking for the other types might use this website. They aren't processing orders between now and next Monday I believe. Because of this, they are offering free shipping.

The only place I've seen the Niles in on the Crocs website. I have asked Zappos if they are getting other styles, and they said sign up for their website notice, so I did!!

Also, while its a starting place to go to the dealers from the crocs.com website, I've found them in many other stores that are not listed. So think outdoor stores, marina stores, Bass Pro Shops, etc

I got the Niles at a local dealer, they only had 2 pairs left. I wanted the blue but I ended up going with the silver because they were the only color in my size. They are cute though and my feet will thank me when I'm walking around Disney all day. Seems like crocs are becoming a hit! Good luck finding them, even if you have to wait, you will love them when they come! :cool1:

I just had to share this Yesterday, I wore a purple sweater and jeans and of course my purple crocs! The DH came home and said "You look like Barney!!!!!!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi All,

I ordered a pair of black Niles size 7 from sahalie.com on Monday. I received back a confirmation that they were backordered til May 13th. Tuesday I received another e-mail saying that they had shipped that day. :cool1: Total price was $35.90 including shipping.

I ordered my Niles from www.stairwaytodenim.com. They shipped out the same day I ordered.

Hey, you guys let us know if you actually do receive your Niles in the next few days!

We leave in a couple weeks. And, I do not want to order if they will not arrive before then.

On Stairwaytodenim, it looks like they have the original Niles-sized S-M-L, but on Sahalie it shows the whole sizes 5-6-7-8..... Hhhhmmm????

Thanks!

Okay experts... I have a new big Crocs question...

Do they all have the little nubby-dots on the footbed exactly like the Beach model??? Does this bother anyones feet???

Also, I am trying out some Teva sandles... What is the deal about how the feel if they get wet??? I know a couple of posters mentioned that. So, I am interested in that too!

Thanks!
