What criteria does Disney use to determine a "Florida Resident?"

I looked on their website and couldn't find it. I'm thinking FL driver's liscense or utility bill or something along those lines.

So, if hubby and I were to one day own property :rolleyes1 in FL :sunny: that is a vacant lot just sitting around waiting to be built upon :rolleyes1 would we be considered FL residents? Just wondering!

Utility bill will not cut it. Needs to be license or Fla resident ID.

I have a home in Fla,but as I do not have a license or resident ID I do not qualify for resident rates.

If you have a utility bill that is in your name, accompanied by photo ID, that should suffice to get you the FL Res discounts.

There's a three-pronged exam: By the severity of the tan lines (if there are any), to see if the person in question uses the word "pop" instead of "soda or Coke," and if the person in question wears shorts in January. In Orlando, it's a four-pronged exam...we add the fourth prong to the above exam by listening if the person in question asks someone in Orlando, "So, where's the beach?" If you pass this litany of prongs, then you're a FL resident. Good luck! :cool1:

Hey. I have a very good reason for not having a tan, and I'm a native! My folks kept Coppertone in business when I was a kid. :teeth:

I just copied this from the Disney website:
Proof of Florida residency per adult is required - you must provide any one of the following:
Florida driver's license
Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
A college ID for a Florida college
Florida-based military ID

Snacky Stacky- Do you mean a Florid aphoto ID,or any photo ID?

Palmetto's info is correct - the 5 items listed are the ONLY items we can use to verify FL residency. Also, EACH person over 18 has to have one, not just one for the group.

Is that the same person who asked my cousin in Nashville where Graceland is? :rotfl2: Let's just say the beach is closer to Orlando than Graceland is to Nashville.

So, I won't be a resident until we actually move, oh, well, I'll survive. Maybe.
