what kinds of crazy food combinations has your DC eaten?

Today for lunch I made DD 2years a PB & J sandwhich and I had to add a slice of American cheese on the sandwhich

My DD likes to dip her mac and cheese in ketchup - but I guess that's not too weird. My DS was eating chicken nuggets and strawberry yogurt together. But I think the PB&J with cheese is pretty out there!

Well this was my ds by proxy. When I was pregnant I had a hankering for limburger cheese. I never had had it before but my dad had and I knew I'd be welcomed at my parent's house with a brick of it. When I got to the store I felt like anchovies would go just wonderful with the limburger cheese. So my dad and I sat in the kitchen eating limburger cheese and anchovies on melba toast while my mom quietly retched in the corner Poor mom. I've never had the desire to eat that combo since but separately is good.

OK, DS thinks he's a mini Emeril and loves to whip up new creations. He knows that he has to eat whatever he makes. Today's lunch creation was a hot dog w/peanut butter spread on the bun. Two great tastes that DO NOT taste great together!!!!

My DS4 likes MickeyD nuggets with the carmel sauce that come witih the apple dippers. Kinda like honey I guess.

DS likes to put ketchup and kernal corn on his pizza

I can't think of anything weird that I eat. When I was pregnant all I wanted was lemons and french fries and now I just like hot sauce on everything.

the other day DS (10) asked for a miracle whip and pepperoni sandwich.

The kids and I put worchestershire sauce on mac-n-cheese and salmon patties.

DH eats cane syrup on grits mixed together with over easy eggs.

Yes, we do live in the South.

When I was little I loved lettuce and ketchup sandwiches on hot dog rolls. And hot white rice with butter melted on top -- yum, I still like that. Oh, and avocado mashed into the hot rice...

Fries & mayo are a classic Belgian combination. Maybe your family is just very chic!
