still trying to fig out counter serv meals for our trip--- so I would like to know which counter serv places give big portions (enough for 2 adults to share or an adult and 13 yr old). last yr my husband and I shared some at our resort bcuz toppled w/ dessert it was enough, but we didnt try this at the parks.

To be honest none of the meals are big enough for my husband to share, he is a big eater.

But in my experience at Cosmic Rays the Rib/Chicken combo is pretty big, as well as the cheesesteak. That thing was huge!!

1. Tangierine Cafe at Epcot (in Morrocco) has big shawarma platters (chicken or lamb, or both), plus they have a sliders combo with 3 small pitas filled with various things. It's very good there too, and easily shared by 2 adults IMO.

2. Cosmic Ray's at MK has the chicken and ribs combo, which people say can easily be shared by 2 people.

3. If you both want a burger and would normally get a single one, you could opt for the bacon double cheeseburger (Cosmic Ray's has this,as well as other CS locations) and split it. Yes, you each would only be eating half a bun, but it should still be enough for 2, IMO. This usually comes with fries also and I think they give plenty of those.

Also, no matter where you go, you could always get a large fountain drink and split it instead of getting 2 smaller ones. I don't know if they allow the large size on the DDP, but when DH and I were paying OOP last month, we did this a couple of times and just shared because we both drink Diet Coke.

Hope this helps!

We have ordered the double burger at Cosmic Rays and ask for just another bun..then took 1 patty and used the extra bun...instant 2 burgers and there are enough fries to share. You can also do that at other places that offer a double burger. Sunshine Seasons at Epcot also has big prtions. We have order the chicken cesear salad and shared this before.

Depending on your appetites we would split meals on days we knew we were going to be eating a large dinner or lunch. Worked out perfectly for us. Some of our favorites were:

Taco Salad at Pecos Bill and El Peryta el Perico - MK Great toppings bar to really fill it up.

Sunshine Seasons - Epcot - The sandwiches are huge and have a side of potato salad too.

Ribs & Chicken Dinner at Cosmic Ray's - MK

Hope this helps some. :)

I have read reports here recently that state that the extra bun is a lot extra to pay for now (around $3 maybe?). So, I would ask them before ordering that, just to be safe. Personally, I wouldn't miss the other half fo the bun, especially at lunch time.

I wouldn't say that one meal is big enough to split between 2 people, but that 2 meals are perfect for 3 people. This was true for us at Cosmic Rays and Columbia Harbor House.

We have never found CS meals big enough to share, with the possible exception of Cosmic Rays. And I am NOT a big eater

I agree with almost all the PPs. The bests are Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, and Sunshine Seasons. However I would Also add The Colombian Harbor House the Tuna sandwich is huge and they also have soups!

DD and I can share the chicken wrap at PB, its really good and huge! It comes with fries, so we get cheese sauce and DD likes to get pickles and tomatos on the side..

DH and I have shared a tuna sandwich at CHH and at POP. The one at POP was HUGE, as I recall. That said we don't eat very big portions anymore.
