I've been to DLP once before but it was 4 years ago. We crammed so much into the 2 1/2 days that it felt really rushed. There was so much I didn't get to see as we just seemed to rush between rides and didn't take much time to stop and enjoy the park. This time I want to take our time as we have 5 days.

Is there anything you couldn't go to DLP without doing?

Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, the daily parade, Dreams this year, and Cinemagique .

^ ^ ^

Everything Elaine said but add Tower of Terror and Phantom Manor to the list ..... and a character meal. I'll still be having character meals when I'm zipping around DLP on my zimmer frame! ::yes::

The parks first thing in a morning, when the paths have been cleaned and are sparkling in the sunlight.
Breathing the air that is full of magic stuff that makes the stress of everyday life just disappear.

Then of course all the great rides and food.:rotfl2:

Sad as it sounds It's a Small World is a must do for us - it's our sons favourite ride (he's only 4) although I'm not sure how much longer that'll last! Another thing is the little show the characters do in the DLH in the afternoon - we normally save that for the last day as it gives DS a chance to say goodbye to Mickey.

This may sound a bit strange, but I always love walking through the arcades - particularly Liberty Arcade. I think they are beautifully done. The other must do is going to visit the Dragon. :thumbsup2

Peter Pan - it is my most favourite family ride :lmao:. I also love ToT in the studios but not so great for littlies in tow!

Seriously though, most of the rides in Fantasyland are a must for us due to our DDs ages. However, DD1 is 7 now and I think starting to change - she's hanging on to Princesses but for how much longer I don't know. We've done Auberge every trip and have booked it for the next one, but I think it may be our last one this time :rolleyes2.

I'm with DLPDaft - we do character meals until they are coming out of our ears. Can't get enough of them and to me, a trip wouldn't be complete without them :goodvibes. I think we are almost doing one each day on our next trip in June (6 days lol)! popcorn::

I think I agree with all of the above, EMH is magical - we almost felt we had the park to ourselves last summer. PoC, Dumbo for the kids and PP, the dragon (DD's favourite thing to see), ToT (DD's favourite ride), BTM (all excepts DS who was too small loved this), these are must dos for us this year.

For us it is BTM, Parachutes, IASW, POTC, upstairs in the castle and the christmas shop. :goodvibes

Thanks everybody! I'm going to make myself a "to do" list!
Does anybody know if there is a Boo from monsters inc anywhere in the studios? I know there's Mike. She's our favourite! :)

eating at blue lagoon, purely for the fab atmosphere, just love it oh and rock n roller coaster, would never miss going on that ride :rotfl2:

I just wouldnt feel right if i didnt do Pirates at least twice!

Never seen her in the Studios I'm afraid. She used to come out in one of the hub shows but I haven't seen her this year. She is a regular character in many of the shop windows along Main Street and in the Village though. Agree she is very cute.

Think I would add a "round the park" trip on the Railroad to everyone else's list. :)
