I have the fuji s6000. I love it. I use it all the time. I have never dropped it or banged it. It did one time get splashed and it was also at the same time a humid day and I was using the eye piece and shot maybe 300 pictures that day so I am sure the area was a little moist around my eye. It stopped working. I took a picture and it never transfered to the card. Just stayed in the view finder. The only think I could do was take the batteries out to get the camera to turn off.
Few hours later good as new. Fast forward about 3 weeks....on vacation up early trying to take pictures of a humming bird. There was a lot of fog in the mountains but not near us. But the ground was damp with heavy dew. Temp was cool but not cold.
Camera did it again......again few hours later worked fine. Took tons of pictures.
This weekend. Out side nice dry day not hot, not humid perfect weather. Shot about 50 pictures on the card and boom same thing. Camera was then fine a few hours later.
Any ideas?
