Other than being there of course,

I have just been sat on the floor with my 2.5 year old with a toy plane, car and a plastic Mickey Mouse.

We drive the car to the airplane (do up your seatbelt with a click) then get on plane (do up your seatbelt with a click) fly plane and park it outside Mickey Mouse's house.

Although I think after about 50 times of doing this it might get a bit old.

Oh, what fun, enjoy yourselves, I'd love it if my two were still 2.5.

Sounds like great fun.....just noticed your in Herts too, don't see many near me on here. Whereabouts are you? I am just outside Hitchin.

Looks like your son loves your little game!!
my nephew who is the same age has a fantastic book all about going to the airport then onto the plane and then arriving, it is done in such a great way and in detail to getting your ticket stamped, a great book for little kiddies!! :thumbsup2

That sounds like a good book, any idea what it is called, I will keep an eye out for it.

The game all turned to custard as Cullen's little brother woke up from his nap and kept crawling over to take the Mickey Mouse to chew on.

Hi Kirsten , i'll find out for you! :)

Thank you very much Netty that is great.

Great fun, sounds similar to games we play!

Ladybird do a Topsy and Tim book too about going on holiday, checking in, luggage going on belt, getting on plane, seat belt, take off and landing and arriving on holiday and going to beach.

We bought it for our grandsons before they went on their 1st flight 3 years ago and they loved it.

I think I bought it in WH Smith.

My DD used to love Topsy and Tim books - we had one for nearly evrey occassion. DH hated them - referred to them as "Topsy and Tim do something mundane" and then proceeded to make up his own stories to go with the pictures. (They were hilarious, I wish I'd recorded him telling them!)
