First of all our's is in SO need of new pavement!!! We have potholes all over, one the size of a lunar crater!!!:p :earseek:

Our road is one of the last our town is worried about as it's a dead end street and there's only 6 houses on it.

Our road isn't bad at all but we're in a cul-de-sac so it doesn't see traffic except for those of us who live here. Some of the other local roads around us are really bad to the point I almost have to go into the oncoming lane to avoid hitting a pothole.

The main roads are good, the side roads aren't good at all. My driveway isn't good at all. I fell this morning on the ice.
Pot holes are a very ending story. It's everywhere.

our street is like an ice skating rink, and we are suppose to get more freezing rain today. Can I say it one more time "I AM SICK OF WINTER!!!"

We have a few potholes. We live in a very rural area, so I guess I should be lucky that the road is paved.:teeth:

Dirt road covered in ice and potholes :(

Very narrow, 2 cars can not pass each other. Paved, but very not smooth, the salt is not good for it. My streets starts in one town and then changes to another. Technically all but one tiny corner of the property that the house we rent here is in town 2. Town 2 does the snow/ice removal, which is good because Town 1 doesn't get to the area very quick. Which is also bad becasue the street that this one is off is also very narrow and hilly, so while we have a nice clear street, to get anywhere we have to traverse the ice and snow. This street is also a dead end with only 6 houses on it. Oh, and we get town trash pick up, along with 2 of the houses on the other side of the street. Town 1 does not provide that. All of us have Town 1 for our mailing addresses and cable, an interesting street to live on.

Underneath all the ice and snow it actually isn't bad. But right now it's ice covered with tire ruts going down the middle of it. (it's a one way street)

the summer of 2003, our developments roads were dug down 4 feet and rebuilt....nice pavement! The main hill going to our development was shimmed this past summer, and next year will be chip sealled.

The thing to remember is that 80% of the potholes will be gone once the frost is gone...

Oh- and even though we got 6" of snow Tuesday night, our roads are bare.....Salt, and liquid chloride does wonders at removing snow and ice.

I must say though our highway dept is top notch, most area town roads are horrible compared to ours!

Anyone got a pair of ice skates I can borrow?? First snow, then rain, then freezing temps. It's my DH and BIL's fault as it is a private road (only 2 houses) and they did not plow the last time it snowed.

Its pretty decent except we have a huge red U on the street as testament to the University of Utahs win over BYU this year... (yes the street gets painted in the color of the winner- friendly compatition between my neighbors)

Directions to our house include.." turn off the paved road".. ours is a county maintained dirt road. Graded two times a year whether it needs it or not :teeth:
