What commercials send you running for the mute button?

The Mucinex ads with the animated characters that are big green talking blobs of mucous. Ugh, so disgusting. And similar ones about toenail fungus.

All the commercials that are so dad-gum embarrassing when you are watching TV with your grandfather!! The 3 women trimming the strategically placed potted plants has got to be the worst at the moment, closely followed by the multitude of Cialis and Viagra commercials

ASPCA is the one that makes me change the channel and not just MUTE.

But yes, I mute most if not all commercials. There are a few that are funny, like the Geico cat commercial.

No one has mentioned the Skittles commercials? Those things are so repulsive the thought of the product now makes me want to hurl.

And that stupid pregnancy test commercial where the friend says "I think I'm going to cry" because her friend is pregnant, according to a test you buy in a drug store. Yargh.

How about the commercials for online gambling? He says"I have a slot machine in my kitchen". Judging by the way he looks, I'd say that he doesn't have a WIFE in his home! The disclaimer on the bottom says RESULTS AREN'T TYPICAL. Really? I picture people gambling away their mortgages! Plus, on the bottom of the screen it says " must be PHYSICALLY in New Jersey to play. Does that mean that you can hop in your car and pull over outside the Holland Tunnel? I HATE this commercial!

What about the one with Cindy Crawford? She is beautiful! But, I seriously doubt it's because of this MIRACLE MELLON that this Dr just happened to find!

The ASPCA ones send both DH and I running screaming for the remote. I will cry every time. If we can't find the remote quickly enough I've been known to cover my ears, shut my eyes, and sing LA LA LA just like a 5 year old until it's over.

There is one women's razor commercial I really hate - it makes me angry. It's this razor with razor blades for a head but the handle is this weird Lara Croft type body. It's creepy, and weirdly objectifying of women.

The local CBS station begging people to "make the switch" to their 10pm news. It's a problem cause we watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on the channel. Little does the CBS station know that we're always going to watch the ABC 12 news.

I was watching Xfinity on Demand. I bet all the on demand stations play the same commercials.

This is from way back, but my mother absolutely HATED the Mr. Whipple "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" toilet paper commercials. "Who the hell squeezes toilet paper?!!!" She'd often physically get up and change the channel when they came on. No remote control back then.

And she never bought Charmin because of those commercials.

I can't watch TV because of the commercials. I only watch shows on DVDs where I don't have to watch any of the commercials. When are they going to have Ad Blockers like they have on the internet so you can block all of the commercials????
