I was just wondering what footwear everybody wears?? I will be with a 2yr old grandson that I know will want to walk most of the time which equals for all of us in our party a very looooong day. Thank you all, in advance, for your valuable input :)

I've worn Sketchers in the past. Love my Sketchers. This last trip, I wore Geox. In both cases, the shoes were really comfortable on my foot. If anything, the Geox was probably a better shoe as it was more padded and foot-fitted tan the Sketchers.

My whole family just wear our runners. Make sure you've pre-worn them. I can walk all day in them, not so much in anything else for that long.
We went in both August (low 30's) and May (high 20's) and the runners have been great.

I usually wear joggers, but I had just bought a pair of thongs in Vegas. They are thick soft rubber and it was like I was walking on clouds. My feet didn't get sore at all believe it or not. But yeah, usually a pair of well worn in joggers works.

I loooove my Skechers Go Walk. I can't find any nice ones like I bought in the US, and I hate paying double what I paid there. Looks like I'll have to though, as no USA holiday planned:(

THats a fair reason to convince and entice yourself to go back even if its for the sketchers lol

I have heal spurs which means that I need to wear orthopedic sandals or runners with orthopedic insoles. I took such runners to WDW, but found that the combination of the heat and wet rides made wearing covered shoes uncomfortable.
I switched out to my sandals (Teva Zirra) after a couple of days and spent the rest of the trip in these. They are awesome and my heel spurs barely played up the whole trip. They have great arch support, plus a shock absorbing pad in the heel. The best thing is that they can get soaking wet and be dry 15 minutes later.

I wear Merrell sandals for when it's warm, and Merrell trainers for when it's cooler.

I am cross my Teva's that were so comfortable for their first walking trip, 2 years in have started rubbing blisters even if I wear them just for a day. Might try Sketchers next.

Barefoot from Rivers. So comfy I have 3 different pairs in different styles!

I bought some Skechers yesterday, they should be well worn in for our trip at Easter. They were on sale for $79 but as I wasn't watching prices pre-sales, I don't know if it's s true bargain or not. They are pretty comfy!

Edited to add that I also bought a pair of Nike socks that are supposed to reduce blisters. So far so good.
