This is a long story but has a great ending and it really made my day.

The next day I received a phone call from the owner (the phone number that we had called was a buddy of his and had relayed the message him) who was very happy that we had found it. He described the camera and the rental car that we had which verified ownership. He was more worried about the memory card with the pictures of his family on them then he was the camera.

Maybe it’s corny, but I do believe that no good deed goes unrewarded. Maybe not immediately, but it does happen.

I wish more people were like you. When I gave birth to my first child, his father took many,many pictures of his first moments with us. The camera was left in our van later that day and someone broke into it and stole my camera. I was sooo devastated! I was more upset about the pictures because they can't be replaced. .

Thanks for sharing, I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around. That being said I also believe most people are good its just that the bad ones are more noticeable....Happy Monday Everyone!

I firmly believed also that what goes around comes around and I have seen it way too often.

Quite a few years ago at Disney - while on the Monorail from the Contemporary, I had 5 books of tickets for my family. Somehow they fell out of my pants pocket and I never found them and they weren't turned in.

Today, if that happened, no one could use my tickets, because my finger prints are on them and they wouldn't be able to get thru the entrance.

Good for you. I hope you were rewarded to your satisfaction.
