I always thought that each room should be no more than two different colors but I believe I'm probably wrong!

Kitchen is bright red with an Asian theme and living room is tan/beige with a faux marble accent wall.

Our kitchen is yellow with blue accents and the living room is a cappuccino color with red accents.

Our kitchen is a muted brick red. Our dining room is land-locked (it's in the middle of our house, with other rooms on all three sides), so we painted it a golden yellow. The living room is sage green.

Kitchen is muted marbleized stripe wallpaper in whites/beiges, with a border of navy, deep green and cranberry blossums. Dining room that adjoins via a french door is cream with complimentary border. Main entrance hall is light green, living room, adjoins kitchen via another french door is deep sage green. All my rooms on the first level tend to be complimentary....they pick up any of the colors in the borders....mostly deep green, sage, cranberry and navy.

Kitchen is red and living room is a caramel yellow.

Kitchen is a greenish gray and living room is a light mocha with dining room a darker mocha (living room/dining room is attached in an L shape)

We have lots of color in our house!! Kitchen is brick red with black and pale yellow tile.....the living room is eggplant and we used blue and red as accent colors.....

We have a great room. Picture a big rectangle, with the kitchen on the left, the eating area in the middle, and the family room to the right. Our kitchen is a rusty red color (the color is called Crimson at Lowes) and the eating area is a sage green (Oakmoss, also at Lowes). The family room as the rest of the house is a vanilla color with a soft yellowish tint called Millet (Sherwin Willams). The color compliment each other nicely!

Kitchen and family room are painted butter yellow, with red accents.

Sounds like my entire downstairs...melted butter (Behr) and cranberry accents...some are more reddish. I'll take a picture and post it.

ETA: Picture of my color..

Our kitchen is hunter green and our living room is Sherwin Williams "Practical Beige.

My house is done in greens, reds, yellows, grays, & plums--basically jewel tones. What is a main color in one room is an accent color in another room. I also use different shades of a color in one room and in different rooms.

Specifically, my kitchen is a deep green (main color). And my Family room is green (couches, rug) & golden yellow (walls). My living room & dining room is mainly red. I have a very open floor plan.

I must be doing something right. I get tons of compliments, even by interior designer friends.

Our kitchen and family room are a dijon gold and our living room is a light beige with a tray ceiling.

The kitchen family room is sort of the color that Southern4sure posted, but a bit darker.

Our kitchen is red, with a Coca Cola theme.

The living room is burgundy, with green and gold accents

Kitchen is peach, but we're definitely repainting, just haven't decided what color yet. The cabinets are a dark oak and the appliances are stainless and black, so we haven't found the perfect color to match. The living room/dining room are sage green (but a bit lighter) with pale green ceilings. Accents are dark red and we're going to be putting up white crown molding eventually.

Kitchen is white on the lower walls, a cream-colored wallpaper (from the 1940s, with sheafs of wheat and pineapples on it) on top, with a wood rail/shelf between; white ceiling, lots of wood cabinets.

Living room is teal, orange, flame red, pink, deep golden yellow, navy blue...it's done as a Mexican-themed room and DEFINITELY has more than 2 colors in it! :teeth:

Kitchen has white walls, lots of oak cabinets, red & green apple theme.

Livingroom has a peach & green theme.

My living room and dining room are a taupish, mushroomy color, Benjamin Moore's Scarecrow, the kitchen is BM's Brick Red, the family room is BM's Sandy Valley which is a deep gold.

A lot of red kitchens here.

The kitchen is blue. The dining & living room is one room, which has creme colored wall, green sofa & wood floors.
