What Color?

Painting our sun room tomorrow, wondering what color I should pick. It's off of our dining room, the walls there are white, but I want something other than white or cream. In the room we will have two small chairs that are black with red specks and a black otomon, a wood tv stand and thats about it. Our flooring will either be white or cream tile. We have lots of sun in that room if that helps, I'm clueless... since the chairs have red in them.

How about a really warm yellow. Not bright; warm and mellow maybe with a little burnishing. Great for a sun room. Pick the
cream tile. When the sun shines in there, the room will wrap
around you and give you love.

I would go with a really little sky blue and maybe adding some accents on the walls that have red on them like red cars or firetrucks.

I'm a yellow fan.... esp in a sunroom.... brightens ANY space, and just makes me feel happy.

There's a beautiful one out there...Antique Yellow. I'm not sure if it's Glidden or another company. It's gorgeous!! And I HATE yellow!

I just went to Home Depot this past weekend looking at paint for my family room/office, which is off of my kitchen. I looked around and brought home many paint samples. I think I'm going with a very soft yellow....it's made by Behr, it's in the new Disney collection they've put out. (although my intentions weren't to go with Disney colors ) This is a really nice, really not to bright, a kind of light color that will brighten any room...it's call Main Street Lights! Ahhh! Duh, Darlene...lol! Thanks so much for refering me to that site... I got an IDEA!
The main street lights would be perfect and I could make it into a Disney Room! The chairs are black and red, just the same as Mickey and his pants... His shoes are a shade of yellow so the main streets color works great. Then when we go to WDW we can bring home little items for the room. AND the girls will LOVE IT! Yeah! Thanks so much, I know I could count on the DIS!

?, can you pick a paint color from one company's samples and have the same color in another type/brand of paint?
Anyone seen the new scents you can add to paint? They are $2.95 at wal-mart, you dump a pack into the paint and it makes the walls/room smell for up to 6-12 months depending on the size of the room... It would be neat to mix something up to smell like main street... =o)

I would say yellow. We painted our den yellow and I love it. It is the brightest looking room in the house.

Went with Fluer De Lis, a dark red/plum color... we are making it into a movie room.

Both my GR and kitchen are a mustard yellow. Love it and looks great with reds.
