what color clothes do NOT go together?

Every summer dh appears wearing his khaki shorts and a gray t-shirt and every summer I tell him that it still doesn't match! He just tried the look again last week.

So khaki and gray - NO!

I feel that any color from the 'black family' (i.e. black, gray, etc) looks weird when worn with something from the 'brown family' (i.e. brown, tan, khaki, etc.) Pairing black with navy is definitely a personal no-no (what color shoes would you wear with that combo?) Also, green and brown brings to mind a tree...

Most definitely black and navy blue...yuck!

My friend always wears navy blue shirts with black dress pants and I always yell at her for that. I tell her it doesn't match but she doesn't agree with me.

There's two combinations I have a problem with:

Red and pink

Blue and Green -- And DS's school uniforms in FL were a green polo shirt with blue shorts/pants. YUCK! It just doesn't look right.
