I found an old thread about what Classic TV Shows people remembered, but it was way on the College Boards or somthing. Sooooooo.....

What Classic TV Show Do you remember from when you were a kid.

I remember watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Japanese Monster Movies (Gamera, Godzilla, Mothra, etc.), and The Wonderful World of Disney (used to love watching Ludwig Von Drake :goodvibes ).

I'm also a fan of Mutual of Omaha's wild kingdom. I also watched the Brady Bunch, Green Acres, Little House on the Prairie, three's company, One day at a Time, Different Strokes, Silver Spoons, Family Ties, Knight Rider, Cheers, St. Elsewhere, Hotel, Hart to Hart, & so many others lol I am a classic TV lover.

The earliest ones I remember watching were Welcome Back Kotter, Emergency, Happy Days, and The Muppet Show. However, even though they were slightly before my time, I grew up watching Gilligan's Island, The Munsters, The Monkees, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek...

I was actually born to be a Trekkie. While my mother was grunting and groaning away trying to give birth to me, my father was out in the lobby watching a re-run of Star Trek. :happytv: I've been addicted ever since. I love the original series and am a huge fan of both TNG and DS9. :) Capt Picard and Will Riker were HOT!

Oh I used to watch Emergency too. I forgot about that show till you mentioned it. How about Dukes of Hazzard, Chips, The Greatest Americn Hero, Shazzam, The Incredible Hulk!

\\ // Live Long and Prosper

(I must be the only person on the planet that can't do the gesture...I can't get my ring and pinkie fingers to stay together...)

I can't do it either. Although I have tried to teach my fingers how to stay in that position by taping them together....

Actually, it's a two part greeting.
V1: Peace and long life ,\\//
V2: Live long and prosper. ,\\//

All good shows though. Only ones I have never watched are Omnibus & Queen for a Day.

I remember Queen for a Day & the Loretta Young Show but I was very little then. I don't even remember what LYS was about. My favorites were Get Smart, Mannix & It Takes a Thief. Then later, The Rockford Files & WKRP in Cincinnati.

How about Love That Bob and of course the classic, I Love Lucy. Bachelor Father, Father Knows Best, The Donna Reed Show, Leave it to Beaver.

Man, I'm old too.
:guilty:

Virgo10, we must be the same age!!

Though I don't remember Omnibus I do remember all of the others. We used to have ONE TV and it was the only one in the neighborhood! My godmother used to come over to watch The Price is Right and we had to MISS LUCY!!! Talk about Heresy!!!!

BTW, my older sister was on American Bandstand when she was 16, she's 63 now!

My all-time fave show to this day is The Andy Griffith Show. I remember my dad would just crack up at Barney Fife. We still watch the re-runs on TV Land.

I remember all those too. What I can remember of the Loretta Young show is her opening a set of doors and walking through them. Does that ring a bell?

Some others from that era that I remember -- and honestly I can't remember if I was watching original episodes or reruns: The Ann Southern Show, Ozzie and Harriet, Sky King (on Saturday am), The Mickey Mouse Club!, Bonanza, Dennis the Menace, Maverick, Wagon Train, Cheyenne, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Wyatt Earp . . . what was the one with Palladin? My father loved that show and I hated it. Wow, I really feel OLD.

Some of my favs are: One Day at a Time, The Electric Company, McHale's Navy, Bewitched, Gomer Pyle , The Donny & Marie Show, The Wonderful World of Disney :cool1:

Loved Bewitched - always tried to move my nose and do "spells" like Samantha. I Dream of Jeanie - wondered what it was really like inside that bottle- it looked so cool with all those pillows! The Brady Bunch is still a favorite, although I totally suck at the Brady Bunch game - naming the episode in the first few seconds. :rotfl: I'll always say, "It's the one where Alice is making dinner!" :happytv: Happy Days - Fonzie when I was little! Please Don't Eat the Daisies and the Monkees always meant it was summer, Petticoat Junction, Nanny and the Professor, and Mr. Ed were naptime favorites. The Munsters were very cool, although I always wondered where Marilyn came from :confused3 I really miss cartoon shows like the Banana Splits and all of the cartoons from that, Tennessee Tuxedo, Pac-Man, the Electric Company. Love original Tom & Jerry cartoons, too.

I was born in 1970, but I do remember as a kid I liked to watch the old Blondie movies!

That's actually the ONLY thing I can remember of the Loretta Young show! Well, that and how gorgeous she was.

I remember most of the shows already mentioned but I'll add a few others: Our Miss Brooks with Eve Arden, Hong Kong starring Rod Taylor. I can actually remember being about 4 or 5 years old and Rod Taylor was my first crush! Then a little later in the sixties, I loved The Green Hornet 'cause I had a crush on him too! I also loved The Time Tunnel.

I remember wathcinh Happy Days and the Don Hoe (sp?) Show with my dad and he left when I was 18 mos...go figure.

As ayoung child, also watched the munsters & Adams family

As a teenager I used to wathc re-runs of the Patty Duke show..I loved that show.
