What Children TV show did you watch

I also remember watching Winky Dink and You, but my parents wouldn’t let us use the interactive feature.

We watched Winky Dink until the day my sister forgot to put up the magic screen and wrote on the actual television screen. After that, we were not allowed to do the interactive portion of the show.

These three I watched were from Michigan:

Channel 3 Clubhouse
Ale Khatt and the Mayor
The Land of Play (didn't like this one too much but have no clue, today, why)

I can't remember watching anything really out there but my younger brothers watched Zoobilee Zoo which I just found weird.

Anything by Sid and Marty Kroft I watched. It's only when I grew up that I realized how really, *really* weird it was. makes you wonder what drugs they were on. I particularly remember Lidsville. It starred Butch Patrick (best known as Eddie Munster) who was transported to a world where all the people were big talking hats. Charles Nelson Reilly was in it, too.

Man lets see here...

Beast Wars:

549742

Bike Mice from Mars:

549743

Mighty Max:

549744

Flintstones:

549745

These are just a few I could think of off the top of my head.... Definitely grew up in the 90's here haha.

It's fun hearing the names of the local kid show hosts. Among others we had Addie Bobkins, Ramblin' Rod, Dr. Zoom and a clown named Rusty Nails that a certain other clown named Krusty was named after.

All of them. Sid & Marty were on all of the drugs.

The only one of their's that I was really into was Land of the Lost. They were all really a little before my time, however Land of the Lost was still being shown and they would Banana Splits music videos as interstitials on Saturday mornings.

in todays standards it would be a bit frightening or just wired to let your children watch
Seems like many replied to the thread title, without reading the part above from OP, as a continuation of the question. 😁

I agree, all the Krofft shows were “out there”, and Lidsville was probably the weirdest. Also The Lost Saucer, with Jim Nabors and Ruth Buzzi as space aliens. Not too weird, just really cheesy, LOL.

Another odd show that I loved was “Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp”. All the characters were live chimps with dubbed voices. My brothers and I thought it was hysterical.
