We will be doing are first character breakfast for my girls 5th bday....I can't decide....I read some reviews on Minnie and friends, people were saying it has the most characters?? thats kinda what were looking for. Any suggestions?

minnie and friends do have the most characters and its in the park you cant really beat that.

princess one is pretty good too

we have done goofy and lilo and stitch too.

honestly we like minnie and friends the best

We have been to Goofy's Kitchen and Minnie's. We really like the food better at Goofy's. We also thought it was an easier set up at Goofy's. The buffet had a lot of choices and it seemed very roomy. We have seen, on average, about 6 characters when we visit. We really liked that Minnie's was in the park, and that we got buttons and balloons. On the down side, we felt really cramped. The tables were very close together and we had a hard time getting to our seats. We thought the food was fine, it was good, but in comparison, Goofy's was much better. We loved the characters at Minnie's. We saw about 10. We would do both again. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the help, I am thinking Minnie prob. then the idea that we can just eat then walk right out and play sounds good.....maybe then I will have a excuse to do the other one next time!:thumbsup2

We liked Minnie's much better than Goofy's. We saw more characters and our family liked the food a lot more! I highly recommend Minnie's breakfast. At Ariel's Grotto we prefer lunch over breakfast, we just like the offerings for lunch better than what we were served for breakfast. :)

We really enjoyed Minnies when we went. Alot of character interaction and they all danced for a while right near our table. Got good video of our 2 year old dancing with Minnie and then standing their frozen like a statue when Minnie let go of her hands to dance with other kids.

The food was good for breakfast. They had the Mickey waffles, and they had the omelet bar which was probably the best part for me. Its all pretty standard breakfast stuff which in itself isn't my favorite but it was all good for being breakfast food. Plenty of variety and as long as its not just you and your little one its fine. I just don't think I would be able to eat if it was just me and DD. I wouldn't be able to leave the table to get food because I would be taking pictures of DD with the characters the whole time.

Next trip we are going to try AG for lunch. I'm looking forward to it not being a buffet so I don't have to worry about missing anything at the table.

We do Minnie and Friends every time we're there. I try and book it first thing on a magic morning where I don't have admission (like if I've already used it or will use it later in the week). By doing that, we get into the park early. My dd doesn't like the characters so we are able to eat in about 20 minutes and enjoy at least 30 minutes of MM. I have always found the food to be pretty good.

Now I am wondering how far in advance should I make reservations? I was going to do it right b4 we go but maybe I should do it as early as I can? with the new land opening I am worried how busy it will be.

Our preference has always been Goofy's. Last time we did Minnie's, we had 2 characters in 90 mins (Hook and Eyeore.) The tables were crowded, and there were no games like there is at Goofy's.

This trip, we are trying Surf's Up with Mickey.

That's how our visit to GK was. It was terrible, there were plenty of characters there but only 3 came to our table! They would wave as they walked out but they didn't stop. Try explaining that to your kids......not fun! And the food at GK was not suited to our family, we just didn't like it that much. I did eat a lot of the yummy bacon but otherwise we weren't impressed. Our server kept hovering over us like he wanted us to leave, it took forever to get drink refills and our dirty plates just sat on our table! No games at M&F's but my girls didn't want to play the game anyway, they didn't join in at all, so for us that's not a deciding factor. For us it's the quantity of characters, quality of interaction and yummyness of food. All of which we found at M&Fs :)

We're thinking about trying this one, too! :)

We've only been to Minnie's the two times we've done a character breakfast because it's right in the park and the least expensive.

I'm hesitant to try a different meal because there are just so many characters at Minnie's! Each time there were at LEAST six or seven and this was during Christmas and the day after Leap Day. The food is great and I love that you can help yourself to drinks (soda, coffee, choc. milk, juice) and we've always been encouraged to snag a couple of drinks to go.

If it wasn't my son's birthday and he didn't love Stitch so much, we would probably just stick with Minnie's breakfast in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping we won't be disappointed :yay:

Depends on what you are looking for. Im my family we have different favorites. My 9 year old DD prefers Minnie's for the character interaction (although she admits the food is better at Storyteller's) but loves the show at Surf's Up Mickey. My parents and my 18 year old like Storytellers best for the food; my 3 year old prefers the animal characters over "giant Mickey Mouse" and the other big characters. I like Surf's Up because it is the only one with Mickey, my favorite.

We don't like Goofy's. We all think it is too dark, the food is mediocre and the characters OK. We might try it for dinner some time though.
