I was looking at some of the old posts here on the DIS (thanks Pete for fixing the search function  ) and it reminded me of how much we all seem to post threads asking for information about where to find particular characters in the park. However, it seems like there arn't that many threads where we say if we found the characters we're looking for. I thought I might start one.

As for me, I had been looking for Jane Porter from Tarzan and some of the Princes for quite a while and I finally found them last year. Jane was outside AK when I was there during my Summer trip and Prince Charming and Snow White's Prince outside the Castle during my December visit.

Anyone else find who they were looking for? :D

My son really wanted to see Goofy and his nephew Max because he plays a video game that they are both in. I really didn't think he would see Max and at all. However, I couldn't believe it when he turned the corner with Goofy! My son was so excited. Another reason to always have film.

Last week we were looking for the princesses, because back in October we only met Ariel. We found Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel at Toontown Fair, Snow White near the hat in MGM. We took so many pictures last week of characters we didnt see in October. They were out everywhere. We got pictures of Cruella, Hercules and Meg, Pocahontis, Robin Hood, Gideon, King Louie, Stanley and some more I can't think of right now. I can't wait to get my pics back on Friday. I wish I would have bought an autograph book or brought my sons to get the autographs but we didn't. Thats the only thing I regret. I did get pics of all of them though.

For my family, I think Jiminy Cricket was the hugest surprise. We always wished we would meet him someday, but had no real hope since he is so hard to find, though we did leave a open page for him in my nephew's autograph book.

Then on the last day of my May 2003 trip, I was at Epcot, heading towards the front of the park to leave to start driving home. I see the Holiday bus parked nearby (and got to check who's on it) .... and there's Jiminy! I did not get a picture with him that time, so I waited another hour and a half for the next Holiday bus appearance, and finally got to meet him. Still can't believe I ever found the Cricket himself! :) :) :)

Another one I spent alot of time looking for was Conniesaurus. In October, I spent a couple of hours on two different days just hanging around Dinoland, looking for her. Finally, she comes out and I get to actually see and meet her.

We were looking for the Beast and found him in France. We walked up just as he was finishing a set so we asked a CM what times he would be there the rest of the day and came back for his last time. He was in a little room with a rose stained glass window. DH was very happy to finally meet the Beast:D

My 8 year old was looking for Meeko and we found him on the bus at Epcot and also at the flag pole in MK.

We never did find Snow White...:(

We found the REAL Mulan this past December when we were there:D

We were also super excited to see Kenai and Koda:D

She's a character that appears in Dinoland. She's an original park character so she doesn't appear in any Disney films.

I wasn't looking for any characters, but it seems that where ever you turn around, there is Belle... She certainly gets around.

Yep, it does seem that Belle is out a lot more than she use to. I remember a few years back it seemed like you were lucky if you saw her anyplace except for her storytime or at Cindy's breakfast. Now she seems much more accessable, which I am very happy about. :teeth:

We missed Belle last week. Only saw her in the parade and at the Beauty and the Beast show. She will be on our list next time. I would also like to see Mike, Sully, Woody, Jessie to name a few.

I have gone to WDW 20+ Times and never met the Evil Queen from Snow White.

1st trip to Disneyland in May 2003 - There she was!!!!!!!

Now if I could only meet Malecifent

Nope. Only Kenai and Koda appear in the parks. There were cut-outs of Rutt and Tuke for photo-ops over by the Magic of Disney Animation at MGM, but I don't know if they're still there.

I have had my picture taken with the seven dwarfs from snow white twice, but each time they were not signing autographs. Can anyone tell me if they actually sign? Hope to find them in May.

I got all 7 dwarves' signatures at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last October (Oct 3 and Oct 5), as well as a picture of us with each individual dwarf. :) :) It seems that the dwarves were signing autographs early at the party when lines were short. Then later during the party, they were only meeting people for individual photographs but no autographs. Near the end of the party, I saw them only doing group photos with people, but no autographs.

Last month, I saw all 7 dwaves with Snow White marching around in Fantasyland, but they were not stopping for photos or autographs.

So rarely they do sign, if you catch them at the right time. :) :)

I would love to see Elliot from Pete's dragon. Does he ever show up anywhere? We also would have loved to see Princess Aurora. DD was dressed as Princess Aurora so we decided that she must have taken a few days off while she was covered with a replacement.

Elliot doesn't appear in the parks except in float form in the Main Street Electrical Parade which is now at Disney's California Adventure.

Aurora can usually be seen at Town Square at MK or International Gateway at EPCOT. She also is usually in attendance at the character breakfasts at Cinderella's Royal Table and the Storybook Princess Breakfast at Norway,
