What characters don't sign autographs?

Hi!!! I haven't been on here in a while.....I'm glad to be back!! . Currently planning a trip to WDW......I can't wait!! . Anyways, I'm wondering what characters don't sign autographs? Because I'd be mortified if I asked for one, and they couldn't sign. I get nervous meeting characters, sorry! I do know that some of the ones with covered hands can't, but I don't really know which characters can't sign. thanks!

I think for most that can't sign, they use a stamp as the "signature." Buzz does this. However, I don't think the Beast signs at all. He meets at the Be Our Guest restaurant during dinner, not lunch.

King Louie doesn't sign. They let us know though before we met him that he gave great hugs but didn't sign.

Wreck it Ralph and Venellope didn't sign when we there last January. We got a card with their pictures that was already signed.

Mary Poppins and Bert do not sign, but they give out cards. You can always just look to see what they're doing while you're in line

If I remember correctly, Mike and Sulley did not sign at DHS. They did not have a stamp either.

Mary Poppins signed on our last trip in April 2012. We saw her in Epcot in a meet and greet.

I think it really depends on the time and place with some character. I've had times where buzz didn't sign and others where he (with stamp). Same with other characters. I do know that for a lot of characters recently they have been giving out cards instead those those that can't sign. Cards were also a big things during long lost friends week.

Mary Poppins and Bert most definitely sign as do Peter and Wendy!

Generally, if a characters hands are exposed or in manageable gloves (not like the Beast's paws) they will sign.

Bert hasn't been a regular out in the parks in some time. I'm guessing the PP maybe met them at MVMCP in the group with the penguins and perhaps they didn't sign to keep the line moving.

I notice that nobody has mentioned Captain Jack Sparrow. When I met him a fewe years back, he wouldn't/didn't sign. We actually asked why and weren't given a reason, other than just 'Jack doesn't sign autographs'.

I'm guessing like pp said it is a time and place sort of thing because we definitely got Peter Pan and Wendy's autograph.

Of the ones we have seen in past trips only Captain Hook turned us down. He posed for a picture but handed our book back to us and indicated no with his hands.

ETA: Mary Poppins signed when we were there in 2013 as well.

We got Mary Poppins' autograph at a Characterpalooza, and Peter & Wendy were signing when we were there in October.

Buzz used a stamp. King Louis, the Beast, Ralph & Vanellope, Mike & Sulley, and the Cars were the only ones we met that didn't sign. Ralph & Vanellope still had the cards with their autographs on it at that time.

Captain Hook signed for us in 2009, not sure about the latest.
Mr. Incredible used a stamp also.

A question: does Hanny Manny sign? We met him, but when I check through the Autograph book this morning, I couldn't find his autograph.
