I was wonderin what cell phones work at WDW? And how is the reception in the parks and Hotels?

AT&T
VERIZON
ETC.

THANKS!!!

We have Verizon and had no problems last November. We used our phones a lot to stay in touch with the rest of our group.

My husband took his Nextel a couple of years ago and it worked.

Yep, Verizon worked great and was free the whole week between 3 phones.

my parents and I have a nokia phone with Cingular one and these were working at all parks..
they only place they wouldn't work was in the rides.:jester:

I was waiting to get on test track and wouldn't you know it as soon as I sat down my phone rang . I checked to see who it was and let the voice mail take it.I wanted to see when I would have no service showing

We have Sprint and so far we've never had a problem. I just got a new phone, so I hope I'm not jinxing myself. LOL The old phone had problems with generators. If I got too close to one or if I was in the middle of a building, I couldn't get a signal. As soon as I walked outside, I had a full signal, though. (but, that is how it worked here at home, too) My new phone hasn't done that yet. I get a full signal wherever I am.

At USF/ IOA/ SW Our ATT phones worked fine! In fact, it helped me find DH when we got accidentially seperated.
(I hope this helps)

we used virgin mobile 7/2-7/9 in parks and room w/out any problems.....

I have Sprint and it works great even in the hotel room, my friend has Verizon and never could make a call from the room but from the parks it worked.

keiki, binky&mouse my 3 beautiful white kitties!

I use Verizon and have never had a problem at any of the parks, Downtown Disney or at the Contemporary, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Grosvenor, Wyndham Palace or Hotel Royal Plaza. I can't say it works everywhere because I haven't been everywhere but I have never had a problem at any of these places. Also never had any problems on buses, boats or the monorail either. I also know it worked on Alien Encounter, the railroad and the tomorrowland speedway. LOL

I've used both Verizon and Nextel.

The only problem I've had is I've been unable to hear the ring. I don't carry my phone on a belt, only in my purse and I missed several calls.

Have a great trip!

I have AT&T and it worked in the parks, in my room and on the ferry boat to the International Entrance of Epcot. Also worked great in the various airports I went through en route to and from.

I have AT&T and friends have different companies. All our phones worked, sometimes I had coverage and they didn't and vice versa.

Comes down to I think they all work.

I've used T-Mobile for the last two trips... never had any problems. I think they call t-mobile something else in Florida.. but either way... it's great.

We have AT&T. Our plan lets us switch to Cingular if we don't get AT&T for no charge, and we got signals pretty much everywhere in WDW either with cingular or at&t::MickeyMo

Cingular worked for us in Jan. We have free long distance and free mobile to mobile so we could split up and keep up with each other - like walkie talkies - only better!!!:hyper2:

I have Cingular and it was okay in the parks...but at port orleans where we stayed I didn't have great service- neither did my brother or mom, and they both have cingular.

Last trip I used Verizon and it worked fine.

The trip before that I used AT&T and could not use the phone in my room at POR. If I went to the parking lot, I could use it.
