What car rental does not require a credit card?

I know most car rentals require a credit card when you pick up the car (for deposit of damage or something). Is there any rental companies that you don't need a credit card. We got rid of all of our credit cards a long time ago.

most companies, I know enterprise does this, will accept a deposit of $150 cash as a deposit. They don't take personal checks for that deposit but I am not sure if they will take a cashier or bank check.
