We're staying at the Boardwalk for the first time next week & I made a ressie at Kouzzina's bcuz I figured we should try something at the Boardwalk while we're there. Just wondered what ya'll think of it. I had someone on Facebook say they thought it was awful. NOT what I wanted to hear.... :sad2:

SOOO who's a fan & who's not and why?? TIA!!

we have been for dinner twice. Would give 8/10 and the only reason not to give 10/10 is that service is slow. If we were on holiday in the Med we would treasure this nice slow meal but we're not we're at WDW and inevitably want to get going to a park for some fireworks or show.

We are aiming to try breakfast for the first time in October.

We have tried various starters (previous trips we classed as three adults and 1 child although my 'child' eats more than her elder brother).

We really enjoyed all our appetizers but our favourite without doubt was the sharing platter, we went for chicken, you get olives, dips and pitta and cashews. Very good and very fresh.

For main courses we have tried much of the menu - DH loved the fish on the bone - once was red snapper and the other may have been swordfish but he can't remember. It was definitely a meatier fish. The server took it off the bone at the table.

My favourite was the flank steak - DD ate half of it. The only entree we weren't keen on was the pork - our problem in the UK we don't do pink pork just well cooked. When it arrived for DS I didn't really want him to eat it - I was convinced he was going to get food poisoning :(

Puddings we have again had a whole selection but the winner is definitely the Greek Donuts (Loukamades sp?) They come with like a raspberry coulis and a vanilla dip. Hot fresh and yummy.

Drinks we love the wine flights - a chance to try some unusual greek wines that we don't see over here in the UK. If you are on theddp and you choose the wine/beer to pay oop you can get a pressed pot of coffee as your included soft drink for two. More than enough and good strong greek-style coffee.

If we were going as two adults we would be returning. With kids we don't get enough enjoyment because we spend too long clock watching.

Oh and finally we have had the best server at any WDW restaurant there on our two visits. Can't remember his name but he comes from either Serbia or Croatia and remembered us 18 months later. Even down to discussing the European football leagues wth DS.

Thanks for such a detailed description....so it's just a slower service type of meal then? Like in Europe? It's not that the food is BAD? How long would you say that it takes to get through a meal (if you skip the whole coffee & dessert bit)? I think our ressie is for like 8:00ish. We don't do the DDP but we will be using the TIW card...we generally find we're too full for desserts by the time we're done with our meals so we don't usually order them.

I was there in May 2011 and had the Fisherman's stew. I loved it. Licked the bowl clean. ;) I also had the drink called ouzzo-tine and it was excellent. My husband had the lamb and he liked it a lot too. You can see my little "review" right here.

We've been there twice for breakfast and it was really good. I had the stacked breakfast both times and enjoyed it very much. Next trip we'll be trying it for dinner.

2 OR 2 1/2 hours. Not a long time by UK or European standards but an age for WDW. If I can find my photo files of it I will try and post :)

should have added the meal itself was in our top three at WDW - the other two being Le Cellier and Boma :goodvibes:
