Here I am!! I may not post here that much anymore (busy with my eBay thread over on the Budget Board and all the trip-planning boards for the trip to Disney World that ebay is going to finance for me

), but I still drop in to read sometimes and see what's up..
Now - as for Albany.. I guess it's a pretty neat place to live.. It's very centrally located to loads and loads of things.. An hour or so to Saratoga Race Track, about an hour and 20 minutes to Lake George (a beautiful resort town with an awesome amusement park), an hour and 15 minutes to the Adirondack Mountains with all sorts of lakes and camping availabilities, an hour or so to the Catskill Mountains, and on and on.. Plenty to do locally (a GREAT museum), loads of shopping malls, interstates to get you places quickly, a beautiful airport to fly out of to Disney World

, etc..
You can live in SO many different areas here - and yet never be more than maybe a half-hour drive to work - if that.. I would suggest East Greenbush, North Greenbush, Guilderland, Latham, Loudonville, Colonie, Rotterdam, etc.. None would take you more than a half-hour to get to Albany and some would be more like ten minutes..
If you want to know anything specific, feel free to PM me - I have lived in the Albany area all my life..
