What can you say about the Garden Grill at Epcot?

We were there at the end of May 2008 for dinner...loved it. The steak was awesome, as were the potatoes. The dessert was really, really, good but we were so full we couldn't do it justice.

Agree with the poster who said getting there early really helps with lots of character visits to your table...if kids with you want the characters, this is the place to do it (and not near as noisy/hubbub busy as the character buffets.)

If the revolving is happening, it is very slow...you have to actually be looking right at the seam in the floor to realize it's moving, or be watching the scenery in The Land ride below to see it moving. Even then, it's so slow I think only the extremely sensitive would get motion sickness from this "spin"...it's slower than the slowest walk. (I've seen posts both ways as to whether or not it's working right now)

I've only eaten there once but really enjoyed it. The food was good, certainly not gourmet but similar to Disney buffet quality, but the character interaction was fantastic. We're 2 adults and all the characters still spent loads of time at ours and the surrounding tables.

Our Family Did Not like the food served and thought
it tasted like School Cafeteria Food.
The Fried fish was really gross--it tasted just like
chicken fried steak--very thick crust--heavy black pepper.
We won't go back the again. The poor quality of the food
was not worth the price of the meal.

Thank you so much everyone for all of your responses and reviews.
And thanks a lot kadesha for sharing your pictures! :goodvibes
